Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

I had two bikes, the other was a matte black Giant hybrid, adult small. Bikes were in the garage overnight. I went out this morning for 2 hours and when I came home, my garage door was wide open (the light on the opener was on, so it had been opened very recently) both of my bikes were stolen. I'm the only one home with a remote, so I'm not sure how the door was opened.

The bike was in a storage room in my building locked to itself and to my red 2011 Cannondale CAAD8. Both bikes were taken. The door to the storage room is locked and not broken. It's possible someone with key access took them. The building management has been notified.

Bike was in a locked storage room in my building and locked to another bike of mine (2014 black Trek Crossrip Comp) with cables and u-lock. Someone took both bikes. The door is not broken which suggests the possibility the culprit may be someone in the building with access to the room.

Bike was locked to metal pole out the residential building. Lock was left unopened and not damaged. my guess is they somehow managed to open the frame and take the lock out. It should have been caught on camera. There is a camera right above the spot where the bike was parked.

My bike was locked on a bike rack on McClurg Ct. in Streeterville. I am a dog walker and park it there everyday in the same place and in the same way as I walk dogs. I walked a dog on E. North Water Street for an hour between 4:00 and 5:00. I walked past it during my dog walk and it was there and totally intact but when I left the dog's home to ride it, it was gone.

Bike was locked to bike rack near the Art Institute and Millennium Park during a concert in the park.

The bike was on my private 2nd floor balcony behind my apartment. The last time I can confirm seeing it was Thursday evening (7/19). It was stolen sometime between then and Saturday afternoon (718).

Went into 7 eleven to grab something, left my bike in front of the store, (took about 2 minutes) came out and the bike was gone.

Bike was locked to wooden post under back porch in rear of quiet residential building. Had been there for 2-3 days without use when noticed missing. Lock was cut and left on the ground where bike had been.

This bike was in a closed garage facing a driveway along with another bike (Red woman's Jenson sport).

In Crisp at 2940 Broadway picking up a post mates delivery. Free locked my back wheel to the frame and leaned it against the window. Walked in to pick up order, walked out and my bike was lifted up and carried away within seconds.

Bike was locked up on the back porch. Thieves broke wooden post on porch and lifted bike with lock from post. Other road bike next to it untouched.

Bike and lock both missing, they did decide to not take the crappy bike next to mine though.

The bike was locked with a U lock to a metal post. A cord was holding the two wheels together. The U Lock was cut through overnight.

I double locked up the bike (Thick cable lock through front tire and frame, and wrapped around bike rack. Ulock around rear tire and frame) at the Clyborn Metra station. I went to the suburbs at 4 pm. I came back at around midnight and the bike was gone. No visible evidence left at the scene.
