I think someone came on my back porch and stole my bike

I was having dinner at Sip and I went out afterwards and was going to pick up my bike in the morning. The thief cut the fence that it was locked up to and took teh U-lock and everything.

Bike locked to a street sign outside Cricket Wireless at corner of Milwaukee and Belden. Locked with a ULock with frame and front tire with helmet. Helmet was a red nutcase with white stripe and 2 white sharks. I was gone for two hours and returned to missing bike. I checked the sign and noticed that it was removeable from the base. I spoke with employees of Cricket store and they said a few bikes had been stolen from that location recently. Please let me know if you have any information.

Bicycle was stolen from an open garage, not locked at time of theft.

The bike was chained to the front porch with lock and chain and was taken at around 1:30 am. There is a big bush in front of the house that blocks the view of the street and thats where my daughter parked her bike this time.

Locked bike to bike rack in loading dock area for the building at 200 W. Madison. The building provides the racks for employees of the building. I locked it at approximately 8 a.m. When I left building around 12:15, the bike was gone. I reported it to building security. There are security cameras, but building could not tell me if they saw the theft.

Bike was locked with another bike on a bike rack outside the main entrance to Lincoln Park. Cable was wrapped through both tires and around the frame. Cable was cut and other bike was not stolen.

I went to work and happened to check for the bike on a break and saw that it was gone.

The Felt F65 is pictured on the left. Had locked up with the K2 on the bike path right next to Castaways on North Beach. I didnt have a Ulock yet so had a Kryptonite cable ran through the back tires, frame, and removed front tires. I had the tire rod with me to both bikes so they must have had extra ones with them.

Very new Electra Ticino bicycle stolen in front of Gleacher Center at 450 N Cityfront Plaza between the hours of 10am and 12:15pm. Bicycle was locked to bike rack, but both bicycle and lock (U-lock + cable) were gone when revisiting the location a couple of hours after locking it up. The bicycle is grayish brown, with brown leathery wrapped handlebars. The most distinguishable feature on the bike is that it is missing its front fender, but the back fender is still installed. There are also minor scratches along the bottom piping of the bike frame where the paint has worn off. There is a loose white front reflector on the handlebars and the front brake needs tightening.

I locked my bike to a metal fence around 10:30 by the green city market at 1790 n clark street on saturday july 9th. I used a U-lock to lock the frame of the bike to the fence. I came back approximately 45 mins later - the bike was gone & the lock was attached to the fence & secured. There were many other bikes locked to the fence at this time and many people in the area.

I locked up my bike around 10:30am, outside of my office. I left the office around 8pm that day. I found no sign of my bike whatsoever. No broken lock, nothing. I don't know how it was stolen or what happened to it.

I believe the lock was picked and then the bike was stolen. It was locked to a metal fence along the lakeshore path at Oak Street Beach.

Possible garage door was left open or thief lifted off track. Not clear at this point. Nothing else in garge was stolen - just the kickass bike I've had for 22 years. Loved that bike. Probably not worth a ton to the average person but I planned to keep it forever.

My bike was sitting on the top portion of a virticle storage rack. I personally installed a 6" long metal peice that was screwed to the cinderblock in my garage. I then looped my U-Lock through this peice to my bike frame. I then had a cable looped through the tires and through an older bike (Trek 4500, on the lower portion of the storage rack) and linked the cable back to the U-Lock. They unscrewed the metal peice and took everything.

I went away for the weekend and my bike was stolen over the weekend. I thus, don't know on what day it was stolen. I locked it to the chain link fence and the fence link was cut so the U-lock was still on the upper cross bar. The bike was in my back yard. There is very poor lighting in the back yard and the yard is open to the alley via the next door neighbors un-secure parking pad.

Bike was taken from a garage. I'm at a loss for how they got in, as both the garage door and the back gate were locked. The bike had a U-lock through its front wheel and frame which would have made rolling it down the street impossible. The thief would have had to walk it on the rear wheel only or throw it in the back of a vehicle. Last I saw it was 7pm on Monday. I don't drive/use my bike everyday so the next time I was in the garage was 6am on Wednesday and at that point I noticed it was gone.

On July 4th my daughter left her bike hidden behind a shed in our backyard as she played. With all that was going on no one remembered to bring the bike back in to the indoor porch where it is normally kept. The bike was found to be missing on 7/7/11 in the afternoon. We found out that the bike was visible from off Pulaski St. into the "hidden" area next to the shed.
