Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

The bike bike was left in the backyard and the gates were locked but someone must have took it the incident occurred in the Belmont cragin neighborhood

At 7:30 AM, I went outside and noted that both my bike and my roommate's bike had been stolen from our porch. They were locked to the porch via individual wooden railings. When I came home at 1:30 AM last night, they were both there. Some point between 1:30 and 7:30, the U-locks were removed with the wooden poles they were attached to and the bikes were stolen. My roommate will file a separate report about his bike.

Bike was hanging from the ceiling of our garage, not locked to anything. The lock was looped around the bike and was subsequently found in our trash bin in the alley. We are located in Wicker Park

Noticed that the lock was cut through. Neighbor to the left parking spot's bike was also stolen as well.

Bike was stolen along with lock from second bike rack south of Kinzie on Wells next to Merchandise Mart. Was in the middle of several other bikes.

Bike was located underneath stairwell of Potbelly, where I work.

* I am not sure of the time. The Bike was locked at 8:00 PM Monday, July, 18, 2016 and the missing bike was discovered 10:00 AM Wednesday, July, 20 Bike was locked in a designated bike rack in a locked area behind the building. It was locked second in from the right on a bike rack. The cable was through the back and the u lock was locked to the front. To access this area you must have a key to the building (or i guess be good at climbing gates).

Bike was taken from our garage during the overnight hours.

Returned to bike after day of work, all bikes on rack appear to be missing or stolen, including mine. No locks present at scene.

I locked bike to bike post. However, lock was found there, on ground, still locked to post. No damage done to lock No bike. Possibility of lock didn't secure to/catch bike when I locked it originally?, hence bike not locked at all? But I don't know how, as I would have heard and/or saw lock fall to ground when I originally locked it? I contacted area businesses for security cameras, with little luk. Northside Realty (4753 N Spaulding, phone 7734637040, Saima was person I spoke with) has outside camera with direct vision of the area, but she was unsure how to work the camera/look up footage record at this time. Bike was previously registered within City of Chicago. But I do not have the seriel #.

Bike was locked to our back porch in East Humboldt with a Kryptonite NYC U lock. Porch was broken and bike was taken between 5pm-10pm on Saturday 7/16. Frame and fork updated slightly since picture was taken due to recall. But generally as pictured.

I parked my bike in a designated bike parking area under the overhang of 141 W. Jackson (Board of Trade Building) at the corner of Van Buren and Financial. I locked the bike to a bike parking stall at 7:15 AM using a combination lock cable device. When I went to leave at 5 PM the bike and lock were gone.

Neighbors left the door from the alley and the storage door unlocked.

My bike was parked in the bike parking area on the Northwestern Memorial Hospital campus off of Huron Street. Bike was locked in the same manner as every other day. When I returned from work, my bike was gone along with my cable.
