Was in a common area shared by seven units of condo building, where it was parked with two other bikes right outside my door. Have parked bikes there for years. Entry from the outside requires going through a locked gate on the outside and a locked door on the building, though people can be buzzed in. Not sure how thief got in, but there was no sign of forced entry (e.g., no damage to doors).

Someone at this time got through my back wheel guard and stole my Purple Infinity Frame and custom gold spoke back wheel. This is very important to me as a dear friend custom made these wheels for me. If you see this wheel anywhere, please contact me and the police.

This bike is a light grey Gazelle Dutch Bike. It has a cafe lock on the back and had an Abus chain lock through the frame and front tire. There is a coffee cup holder on the handlebar and a tangerine colored pannier basket on the back. There are fenders, 3 speed Sturmey Archer internal hub and coaster brakes. Black Brooks sprung saddle. There is a chain cover and skirt guard, both have the Gazelle logo on them.

I noticed this morning the back door to the storage area of building was wide open. Other building tenant saw bike was not in Garage. Another bike that was in the Garage is also missing. When I saw the door wide open I assumed another tenant had forgotten to close it or the wind blew it open. My guess is that someone came in through the back gate and entered the garage and carried the bike out. It is a heavy bike with a integrated rear wheel lock and the front wheel and frame secured with a heavy duty chain lock. It would have had to have been carried away.

Our two bikes were stolen from our garage in the early hours of Thanksgiving day. They were U-bolt locked to metal bars we had installed in the garage, metal bars into studs with un-retractable screws, but wood was old and they just wrenched the bikes off and the screws broke free with chunks of the old studs.
