Im thinking that the lock was cut because it was crappy, which is my fault.

Bike was stolen from the garage

I left my bike locked up the a tree in front of my apartment at 875 W. Lill Ave #C1 in the Lincoln Park. I was wondering if maybe the city took it because it was locked up the a tree on the side walk...

I locked the bike up on a rack by the logan square blue line station. I think they cut the lock and took the bike.

Bike was stolen during the night. The Atlantis is not a common bike around here. The stock color is blue/green so this custom paint job would be extremely rare.

Garage door open for garage cleaning in process. Left garage unattended for five minutes while in back yard. Two bikes stolen at same time. Woman's small Fuji Absolute 3.0, Lavender/silver ICF7F00650 in addition to this Grove Sport. Both bikes have attached locks and under seat packs. Bikes Stolen by experienced bike thieves- they must have been trolling neighborhood ally's over the Labor Day Holidays. Garage door is not exposed unless thieves are looking for vulnerable opportunity.

bike was locked outside cta red line station at sheridan between the hours of 3am and 3pm

Bike was attached to burglar bars on back porch. Saw suspicious figure last night but no one tonight. Went out to put bike in bike room and was missing. Bike lock is gone too. Incident occurred very recently

Locked bike overnight. Came back the next morning and bike was gone.

Double Locked 4 bikes at the entrance to Lincoln Park Zoo. Both Locks cut and left at scene, 2 bikes were moved to get the bikes they wanted. Bikes that were left Were a Specialized Hybrid and a Trek 2100, bikes that were stolen were a 2009 Trek Alpha 1.2, 58cm, black, white and gray, 2007 Specialized Elite, 54cm, red and white

I was mounting my bike to my car roof rack. Took off the front wheel to mount the bike. Drove off without the front wheel. By the time I got back to the alley East of Hoyne it was gone. I think that one of the kids that play in the alley from the Section 8 building nearby may have seen me drive off without it. The picture is my Rear wheel I still have.

Bike was locked inside trash gate to a wooden fence. Wooden fence pole was pulled loose through board.

Bike stolen from my house garage

Someone cut through the lock and took the bike.

My bike was inside of a locked garage. On the morning of 9/1/2013 my landlord came into my apt and said the garage had been broken into and everything had been stolen out of it.

Bike was under a stairwell in an enclosed back yard with high walls and locked gate. Stupidly it wasn't locked but I thought the space was inaccessible. However this bike is probably unique in Chicago so please do keep an eye out. I locked the bike up to itself because there was nothing to lock the bike up to. I used a u-lock in combination with a cable. The u-lock was used to lock the front wheel to the frame, and the cable was used to secure the back whee to the frame and u-lock. While locking up, a group of three hispanic men with two pick-up trucks were present, working on one of the pick-up trucks, apparently trying to get it started. I left the bike to take my kayak on the river for a few hours. Upon return a few hours later, my bike was gone with no evidence of the lock or cable being cut, and both pick-up trucks were gone. I suspect they just picked the bike up and threw it in the bed of one of the trucks and drove off. The area where the bike was locked up is in a gated yard with one key-code lock entry gate to get in.

2 guys were riding on Berteau and Honore, one had a red rear wheel. They rode past my bike a few times, came back to it, waited for passersby to die down, and took the saddle & seat post. It was caught on the building security camera.
