The bike was locked to a single loop bike rack in downtown. I went inside my gym, and when I came out, the cut cable was laying on the ground, and the bike was gone. There were security guards on duty at the gym and the Canadian consulate but, of course, no one saw anything. This was close to sunset, and in heavily trafficked area, and my bike was the only bike on that bike loop. It must have been an obvious crime, that I would expect someone to have seen... ??

Locked bike to bike rack outside of Welles Park Saturday afternoon (around 2 PM). Arrived back at location Sunday morning, approximately 9 AM. Found the remains of the Kryptonite lock, which had been cut with what appeared to be bolt cutters. The lock was under the snow, which started sometime this morning, so I assume it was stolen sometime during the night.

Long gone... The idiot who took it left the wheels.... Even took the time to use an allen wrench to remove them they were not QR....

I locked my bike up at the Metra station on my way to work in the morning, around 7:30 as usual. When I returned for it that night at approx. 7:30 it was missing

Bike was locked in underground parking garage to a thick pipe. The cable was most likely cut and bike carried out with U lock still on front wheel and frame. Bike is grey/black where the bike in the photo is yellow.

I had gone into work for a double, a friend had come in 3 hours prior to us leaving and the bike was still outside. Upon later leaving, i saw my chain cut and sitting on the floor. The chain was locked to a 1 foot diameter tree and the chain was a heavy duty chain link. it was in front of 609 n. dearborn between the hours of 9:30 PM to 12:30 AM

I was out at work and my son left his bike after riding around a bit in our back courtyard area under the stairwell that leads up to our apartment. My intention was to put it away when I got home. By the time I went to go get it and bring it in the storage unit it was gone. It is brand new, just got all the bells and whistles and once over, he has ridden it twice and already gone. I am baffled as to who did this as the bike was hidden from the street.

I locked my bike to the bike rack to go to class. I ran up to Lincoln Park for the evening and when I got back the bike was gone. If anyone has seen it please email me. The image I have provided is taken off of another website but this is exactly what it looks like.

I found Nate Bell on Craigs list. He said he repairs bikes and does paint jobs. I dropped my bike off at his apartment and he was supposed to paint it. He gave me the run-around for 11 days, then turned off his phone. Now I can not reach him and I want my bike back! Picture is not exact, closest one I could find, handle bars are just straight across. Bike was in storage in apartment basement. Someone saw unknown people enter building around 8:30 on 3/14, thought they were friends with other people in building. Checked bikes today and mine only one gone.

Bike was in a locked garage. Thief broke into garage through back door, opened garage door and left with bike.

The bike was locked inside my house and I saw it before leaving for dinner on Feb 24th. I went downstairs to do laundry after returning from dinner that night and realized the bike was gone. There were tire tracks outside the house that confirmed somone had ridden off with the bike (along with my housemate's bike too).

I locked up my bike when I went to class, through the front wheel and around the wheel posts. It was on DePaul University campus, outside of Seton Hall, at about 5:00pm. When I came back at 10:00pm, it was gone. The thief detached the front wheel and lifted the posts out of the u-lock. The front wheel remained locked to the rack. The theft has been reported with DePaul campus security.

On Monday 2.23.2009 after work I locked my bike up in front of the CRUNCH gym at Wabash/Grand I locked my bike to the bicycle rack in front with a Combination Cable lock. I put it through the rear wheel and the front wheel through the frame and the bike rack. Within the 1.5 hours I was in the gym my bike was removed. Both the bike and the lock were gone. I have no clue what could have happenedf especially since it was so quick.

Stolen from inside a locked garage at Western & North Ave, anytime between 2/12 and 2/16. Thief cut the cable lock and left it at the scene. The garage is shared with 10-15 other tenants and many of them keep their bikes locked up in the garage, however, only mine was stolen. Another tenant had birthday presents stolen out of her car while parked in the garage, so one of the tenants with garage access may be a thief. If you see a yellow Gary Fisher bike with Leinenkugel Honey Weiss stickers in the Chicagoland area, it's most likely mine since it's a special edition and only a handful were made.

I forgot my U-lock and locked the bike to a bike rack with a cable lock in a heavily trafficked area, just outside the Anatomy building on the UC campus. I saw it at noon and it was gone when I came back out at 6.

Theft in process. A guy with an angle cutter and a USPS van was seen cutting your bike. Security was alerted, check with them. Good luck.

This bike was stolen from my apartment in the summer I did file a police report but seemed to have lost my copy of it.
