Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

No idea how bike was stolen, nothing was left and no damage to the property/building was visible. It was locked in a shared storage/laundry/basement area of my building.

Parked in front of Niedersachsen Club, 4548 N Lincoln (just south of Wilson, west side of street). Had lunch with large group at the Daily and it was gone when I left. Picture is from web, but similar with fenders and rack, shifters and such as noted.

Went to Grafton's pub for some burgers. My bike, along with my friend's bike, was locked together and to a U-rack right on Lincoln in full view of several bar patios. There was also a concert going on at a Old Town School of Folk Music center right where the bikes were locked. Came back after eating, and they were gone. We asked around at the patios, including two women who were dining right next to them, but no one saw anything. A report of a "large, black SUV" from one witness that had pulled up and seemed suspicious in her mind, but they didn't see the bikes taken. I think it was a professional job. The location of the incident was a safe and family-friendly area on a beautiful day. Also a good location to find lots of very expensive bikes, since it's an affluent area. I purchased the bike three hours before the incident.

I work for a delivery service and I left my bike outside of a client's business (located at Chicago ave and Damen) for less than three minutes and when I left the business it was gone.

We asked around at the patios, including two women who were dining right next to them, but no one saw anything. We have a secure, secluded yard with high fences and buildings on 3 sides. Porch not visible from alley as coach house completely blocks access. Gate to yard is accessible by short alleyway directly to Chicago ave. I rode home after midnight, unlocked and relocked our gate, and carried my bike up to our 3rd floor porch, where I locked it to itself and placed it leaning against a dark wall and behind a large chair. In the morning, our gate door was open and my bike was gone. Not sure if I was followed home or if someone just broke in looking for stuff in general and found my bike when they made their way up to our porch.

Sometime the weekend of the 9th of June (during midsommerfest) the bike was stolen from my apartment building's community bike storage. The area has a locking gate facing the street and is open to the back alley.

We discovered the bike was missing at 10 p.m. We last checked it at 8:00-8:15 and it was still there. It was parked at the bike rack just north of Berenice Ave on east side of Lincoln.

Bike was parked behind a locked fence in a garden unit leaning next to a bench. Fence was probably hopped and the thief must have exited through the door

Bike was stolen inside of Dominicks by the carts. Dominick's refused to view surveiellance footage for some reason.

Bike was noted to be still there and locked to fence at 3:30 am, I got up to ride it this morning at approximately 7:30 am and it was missing.

Parked/locked-up bike at 2:30AM on 6/15/13 near church and parking lot on bike rack that was on the sidewalk.

Locked my bike up across the street from Trader Todd's and it was gone when I returned.

My bike was stolen from the front of the Landmark Century movie theater in Lincoln Park. My keys were missing from my bag, which I discovered when I exited the the theater. My bike was missing from the bike rack. I believe I may have been pickpocketed, and my keys were used to unlock my bike.

I rode my bike to the Glenview, IL downtown train station. Locked the bike to the bike rack around 6:30 AM. When I returned that evening on the Metra, the bike was no longer on the rack. There were lots of other bikes, but mine was missing. Report was filed with Glenview police.
