2010 Trek Soho S It was locked on a pole with a Kryptonite lock on Milwaukee Ave. and Haddon in Wicker Park. I purchased it at Village Cycle on Wells, and it probably still has that sticker on it. I had the handle bars cut so they are around 3 inches on each side. I have a Planet Bike Beamer 3 LED light on the front, and a red Planet Bike light on the back of the bike. I also had a black kickstand added to the bike.

I had my bike stolen this morning (Wednesday, August 22nd) between 8:10am and 9:00am. It was locked on a pole with a Kryptonite U-lock on Milwaukee Ave. and Haddon in Wicker Park. It is a 2010 Trek Soho. It is slate black. I have the serial number for it. I purchased it at Village Cycle on Wells, and it probably still has that sticker on it. I had the handle bars cut so they are around 3 inches on each side. I had a Planet Bike Beamer 3 LED light on the front, and a red Planet Bike light on the back of the bike. I also had a black kickstand added to the bike. I'm not sure how the bike was stolen because the lock was missing along with my bike.

I lock my bike BEHIND a security fence at the back door of my apartment. I locked it with a heavy Kryptonite security chain, through the frame and rear wheel, around the largest support post of the fence. The chain was cut and the only evidence was a single broken link left behind. I think someone did not ensure that the security gate was fully closed, and that the thief was able to come around to the side the bike was locked on and cut the chain. Bike has front and rear reflectors as well as an led taillight. I discovered it was stolen when I got home this afternoon.

I locked my bike in the parking lot of the Clybourn Metra station at 6:30am. There's a bunch of bike racks underneath a shelter. When I returned at 6pm the bike was gone and a new bike was already parked in its place. Half of the lock was on the sidewalk. They had cut through the U lock just under where it connects to my bike when it's stored for riding.

Bike was purchased new on July 9 2012. The bike is predominantly Black with white graphics. Black and white saddle with "cannondale" on the top of it. bike has a small computer on it mounted on the stem near the top of the bars. Computer is a blackburn wireless, the sending unit is on the right side of the fork about halfway down. The reat reflector was removed from under the seat stem, however the wheels still have white reflectors and the handlebar has a single white reflector on it as well. The pedals are small black clip in type. there is a water bottle cage on the bike, however the bottle was at home. Black tape on the bars.

I was inside Yoberri ordering my smoothie and I turn around to check on my bike and it was gone. It was in my view most of the time except for when i was ordering so the thief only had a 10-15 second window. As soon as i saw it was missing I looked around but the thief was gone.
