The previous owner had wrapped electrical tape over the mid section of all the frame bars (see photo). Tires were Black Maxxis. The handle wraps were black and beginning to fray just a little. There were no lights or accessories because I took those inside the building with me.

Basic Bike Info

Bicycle Type:
Fixed Gear / Track Bike
Serial No.:
F702U0151
Size:
54 cm
Color:
Deep Marine Blue
Condition of Bicycle / Distinguishing Features:
Fixer - freewheel. Bike had a stem extension that was brand new (installed the day it was stolen) and riser bars. Had a clip on the down bar for a slick little bike pump that was not on the bike at the time it was stolen. There was also a mount under the handlebars for a Cateye light as well as one on the seat stem just below the mount for a Specialized coil cable lock. There was also a mount for a Kryptonite U-Lock on the down tube of the frame. The rims were black Sun Rims MZ14 and showed wear from picking up pebbles. The seat was your standard black racer seat, but was tethered with a Lexco "seat lock." The most distinguishing feature of the bike is that it had a higher gear ratio than what the bike comes with. Unfortunately, I don't remember what that ratio is. Although I know I have it written down somewhere, just can't find it right now. Thanks. I love this bike and really want it back.

Locked through front wheel and frame to object.

No more than 2 1/2 hours
Incident Description:
Went into the building after locking the bike through both the front wheel and the frame using a Specialized cable lock that was sheathed in a metal chainmael type of sheathing. When I came out of the business two and a half hours later, the bike along with the lock were gone. The officer who took the report told me that the big box stores now sell diamond edged hacksaw blades that can cut through anything. My guess is they cut through the lock and took the bike. Although I did not see any metal fragments where the bike was locked, so they probably used a heavy duty lock cutting tool.
