Bike was not where I locked it up when I left home this morning. The U-lock is still around the gate, unharmed. They had to have cut through the entire front wheel, rim and all. There are three other bikes locked up next to mine, but only mine was touched. The two reflectors from the front tire were laying on the ground next to the lock.

White seat, purple chain, bamboo handlebars with purple leather grips. There is a spot under the bottom bracket with the original paint (olive green) and serial number visible. The pic I included is older, with out the purple highlights.

My chain was looped around my bike and my friends, securing both to a sign post. Came out of the bar around 10:30 and saw my chain laying on the ground next to my friends bike, steal leaning on the pole. Both my padlock and my bike were gone. Guessing someone drove/walked by, cut the padlock quick with bolt cutters, and rode off like a bandit. LIKE A BANDIT!

(Note: the photo is what my seat looks like. It is not my actual saddle.) My Brooks Saddle and Bianchi seat tube were stolen from my locked Bianchi Eros road bike. The bike was locked with Ulock & cable to a bike rack. Unfortunately, my bike seat was not locked. It did not have a quick-release seat tube! ;-( Location: South end of the Equitable Bldg plaza near the Chicago River and Michigan Avenue sidewalk (directly next to tourist-filled Marilyn Monroe statue worshippers; across from Wrigley Bldg.). The thief lifted the entire seat tube with Brooks B-17 honey-colored saddle attached. Left my helmet and bike. I will keep an eye out for this on Craigslist.

Someone cut the cable lockand stole my bike, when it was locked to a bike rack on East Grand Avenue, at 1:00 PM. It was a bright sunny day on a busy street, and I only left it alone for 1 hour. It was a large adult men's road bicycle, and oddly, the theft stole my bike and replaced it with a small red women's bike. My bike was old and very used, a bit surprising. I left the girls bike at the scene.

It had a newer u-lock with flat key through the back wheel and frame when it was stolen from the entrance of my building with helmet as wellb in Logan square near Armitage and Humboldt Blvd. The back wheel is newer than the front wheel, The rear wheel is black but also there is a sticker on the frame that it was bought from Sarasota Bicycle Shop from Sarasota, FL. The seat is a replacement since the original was stole month before the the whole bicycle was stolen. The seat is black with a diamond design pattern and also its a TREK Brand but the logo may or maybe cover with a electrical tape. Also was a 21 speed. That was my only way I got around. Help me get it back and punish the bicycle thief accordingly to set an example.
