Although the bike was about 10 years old, it was in very good condition. I never took it out in the rain and always kept it inside in my apartment. It had toe pedals to it, so you needed special shoes that clip in to ride it. It also had yello grip tape on it that's fairly new and still looks bright yellow. It was locked with a kryptonite chain lock that was taken, as well.

In above average condition where the breaks were beginning to become a little loose and were due for maintenance. The dock for the computer was screwed on still, but I took the actual computer off right before I left it last. The rear break was also rubbing up against the wheel well a little bit. There were no dents or cracks on the bike and the bike was respectably clean.

I was parked and locked at a bike rack with other bikes in front of City Hall around 3:30p. I was upstairs for about an hour when I came to find that my bike was missing. I immediately thought maybe I had parked it a block down, or on the other side, but after taking a lap across City Hall, and going down a block on each side, I had realized that a mistake was not made on my end, but rather the bike had just been stolen. Unfortunately, I did not take many pictures of the bike. So the only one I have uploaded is one of me and the bike, but please disregard the back behind the seat as I recently removed that. I hope this report helps me find my bike again.

The base of the sign was unscrewed, the pole lifted, removed and then replaced after the bike was taken. The screw/bolt that was taken out to remove the pole was left at the scene.

My bike was parked in a thoroughfare on grand off Dearborn, U-locked to a street sign pole. I was having dinner in India House restaurant. The pole was unscrewed from it's base plate and the bike was stolen with the lock. There was an alley near the pole as a dark tunnel to flee with the bike. That said, the valet drivers were active parking cars in front of the bike. The alley also had chefs/ helpers of the restaurants in the building.
