someone cut my bike cord with metal clippers and walked away with my bike.

Bike was locked to street sign on corner of Wolcott and Wicker Park for less than ten minutes while I was getting ready for work. Bike with lock was gone. Suspect that thief lifted street sign to gain bike. U-lock is probably still dangling from top bar of the frame.

Bike was not locked to any post or object, but was inside a secure and locked garage. Speculation is that the thief/ves defeated the automatic garage door opener as the garage door in the alley was found open at approx 9AM on the 29th.

THe bike was locked up to a pole and when I came home it was gone with the lock.

Bike was stolen from my employers home while inside a a locked, fenced in area at the back of the house.

A blond haired caucasion man about mid 30's broke in through the front door of the condo bldg, then broke into the bike storage room and cleared out all the bikes that were inside. He is on video surveillance from the building's security camera and the CPD has a copy of the video.

Bike was parked 1-2 hours in front of residence, before it was noticed missing. Locked to wrought iron fence. Cable lock was cleanly cut and remained attached to fence pole.

I found my lock cut at 9:00am. My roommate borrowed the bike and returned it sometime around 5:00am.

Bike was taken from gated area between garage and apt bldg when owner ran into apt to grab a backpack.

Bike was locked to rack, behind gate next to building. Gary Fisher Mountain Bike is grey, with water bottle holder with bottle. Front suspension. Lock was taken with the bike.

The bike looks like this with out the kids seat.. It was a regular monday lots of traffic in that area

Someone stole my bike from a UIC bike rack. The lock and chain are missing also.

Came home. Lock was cut laying on the ground. Bike Gone.

I had my bike locked to the fence outside marwen (833 N. Orleans) at about 1:00, I came back at about 4:15 when I discovered it to be gone, part of the cut-through lock lying on the ground

Sign to which bike was locked was lifted and replaced.

Bicycle was stolen between 8:00 pm - 8:00 am July 25. Bicycle was locked to a wooden porch railing in the parking lot behind my apartment building. The cable was cut and the lock was left lying on the ground.

My bike was chained to a city tow zone pole which was lifted out of the ground in order to take the bike and u-lock that had it secured to the pole. This is my best guess of what happened because the tow zone pole fully lifts out of the ground.

I always keep my bike in my locked backyard. This morning, I came outside and saw the neighborhood homeless man's cart sitting outside of my gate. I am guessing that he somehow jumped the fence (very tall with spikes), and I'm not sure how he did it. He also stole a baby carriage, and I'm not sure what else.

The cable was cut and left at the scene. I had the seat and all extra taken off and with me at the time. The bike also has SPD pedals on it.

My silver\grey Motobecane 10-speed mid-'70's model was stolen on 7/22 approx 10pm from the 2500 block of north Sawyer. The dirtbag headed east on Wrightwood across Kedzie and down Linden toward Sacremento. The bike has a rack on the back, ratty tape on the handlebars and a green plastic-covered chain under the seat with a combination lock which the dirtbag will not be able to remove.
