Someone hopped the iron gate from the alley, kicked in the locked side door of our garage, opened the main garage door from the inside, and biked away. Neighbors saw a tall man wearing a yellow safety vest in the alley shortly before hearing banging near the garage. People in the nearby park later saw a man matching the description headed west.

Bike was stolen from my building's locked basement (the door to a common area was smashed in). It was locked with an Abus folding lock to the studs on an unfinished wall. Other bikes in the bike area were intact, though some weren't locked. I haven't ridden in a few weeks, so I don't know exactly when this happened, but it has to have been after January 13.

The incident occurred between January 5, the last time I saw my bike in the laundry room, and January 25, when I realized it was missing. It was in my apartment's laundry room attached to a bike rack with other bikes. The lock was cut with a bolt cutter and left on the scene. I believe it was stolen with the intent to sell because there were other bikes in the laundry room with no locks attached that were not taken.

This happened in the early morning of January 22nd, also as determined by fresh snowfall.

Airtag taped under the seat with initials "JAS", it might not be there anymore. (I have location tracking on it still, but I don't want to cause a confrontation). I've tracked it to near 76th and cottage grove.
