The back was parked on our backyard, where it might have been seen from the alley, but not from the street. We went for lunch for couple of hours, then when we came didn't see the bike in its place. I do not have lock on the street gate, however alley gate is locked. They must have come from the street gate after seeing the bike from the alley.

I pulled out of my garage in my car and left. 20 minutes later a text from my landlord tells me my bike is gone and the garage door is open. Garage door most likely reopened due to obstruction. Incident Description: 
Bike was left in garage/basement of my "secured" apartment in the bike storage area. Bike was locked to a pipe. Someone came and cut the lock, took the bike, left an Appalachia Trails peace sign sicker on my helmet, then left the helmet and lock at the scene. The culprit walked past 3 unlocked bikes (all in good or better condition,) and two locked bikes (one u-lock one cable) before getting to mine. There are only three exits and mgmt company does not seem to want to help
