My bike was locked to a parking sign on Ohio East in front of EQ3 store...near Eataly. Went and had lunch in Eataly and when I came out it was gone. I fund a small Velcro strap that was attached to my lock on the ground. I am a person of small size and It is not easy to find bikes that suit me.

Returned to obtain bike around 12:15am and found half of the cut lock on the ground with both sides of the U cut. Reported to CTA, 311, and police station.

Bike was there previous night. Was gone in the morning. On top floor of three flights of stairs. Only way to see there was no lock would be to climb the stairs and investigate with the intent of stealing. There are cameras facing the back garage owned by the landlords that should have caught the incident on tape.
