Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

My bike was locked to the bike racks outside 633 S Plymouth Ct. Between 1:43am and 1:52am on June 20, both the bike and lock were taken. There is a gap in the security footage, during which the bike and lock disappear.

Left bike in front of Beatrix while I grabbed pick up. Stupidly did not lock it, but sidewalk was closed during construction so I thought I would be ok. Watched bike while inside, looked down at some point and it was gone.

Bike stolen from storage room in the basement. Locked to bike rack. Tires dismounted.

Locked bike when going into One Mag Mile for work at 8:30. It was gone when I went to pick it up after work around 5:00PM

Bike was taken from the bike storage area at my work, inside a locked building. Sometime between 9 and 5. It was missing when I went to get it to go home.

Getting a drink at The Drop on Lincoln Avenue after working late night shift. No bike rack in front of business so lock to a street pole around the corner on Wisconsin Avenue.

Saw my bike yesterday. Walked my dog after getting home from work today and saw it was gone. Not sure if it was there this morning.

Stolen between 9 am and 4 pm. Lock was cut cleanly

Somebody smashed the window to my locked 2011 white Mitsubishi Lancer and took my bike out of the back seat.

I noticed the bike gone around 1 in the afternoon. I had last used it about 10 days prior, but I believe it was probably taken sometime in the previous 3 days. The bike was kept on a wooden porch 1 story above the locked and gated back alley. The wooden slat of the rail that I had locked it to was pried off the rest of the fence, and there was a hole cut into the chain link fence abutting the alley of my building, leading into the alleys of several other buildings (also locked and gated alleys), that hadn't been there before. It appears that the thief entered through the hole he/she made in the fence, walked up the balcony to the first bike he/she saw (there are a number of bikes kept in the alley) pried the bar off the fence, and carried the bicycle out.

Left bike at Foscoe park locked to a metal seat in the front of park. Went inside for a swim and came outside and the bike was gone. There was a sort of incident going on at the park that they called park security and the police. Not sure if it was related or not. There should be surveillance footage but the police have to request it.

Bike was locked in a bike rack in the Pritzker Pavilion garden area during concert (next to the Beverage/beer concession stand). Cam back afte rteh concert and bike with the lock were missing.

The bike was stolen some time from 11pm to 5:30am. It is kept in my locked back yard over night.

Bike was locked to wooden porch on 3rd floor on alley side of Sheffield Ave, just south of Armitage. Porch wood was broken and bike was stolen. Picture is a google image of the stolen model. Time of incident is best estimate.

Sometime between Thursday June 15 at 5 PM and Saturday June 17 at 11 AM - locked bike room in our condo garage was accessed and cable bike lock was cut - 2 bikes were stolen.

Bike was unlocked as it was kept in a locked area. The locked area was broken into, leaving the bike vulnerable.

Woke up this morning to find my bike had been ripped (along with lock) from the wooden railing on the back, alleyway-facing deck of my third-floor apartment (three-flat). I live two floors above Big G's pizza.
