Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

The last time I used my bicycle was Sunday, July 24th at around 2:00pm. I discovered that the bike was missing the morning of Wednesday, July 27th at around 8:30am. The bike was attached to the metal fence with a steel combination lock on the western side of the property. A clear plastic tarp covered the bike to protect it from rain; the tarp is not missing.

Bike and kryptonite lock missing in entirety. Confirmed still there Monday night (7/25) determined missing by Tuesday night (7/26)

Went inside to leash up some pups and in less than 5 mins it was taken from right outside. 20 minutes later I saw the thief riding north on Lincoln just past Webster but couldn't follow.

Black and Gray Specialized Boys 24 in Bike was stolen from outside of my home. It was only there for 10 minutes. A neighbor saw the theft. It was a middle aged man with a black backpack. Salt and pepper hair.

Bike was inside back of locked vehicle, robber somehow unlocked the vehicle and stole all of my contents, vehicle jack, diehard jumpstart battery, case of water and 2011 trek hybrid bike.

Bike went missing between 1:30pm and 5:05pm from bike rack behind the Anatomy building (close to Cobb Gate) on the University of Chicago campus in Hyde Park, Chicago

Woke up, bike was gone.

Left home from alley around 10:00 AM, bike was still locked to metal pole in alley. Returned around 8:00 PM to find lock cut and bike stolen.

Bike was locked up w/ a U lock connecting the body to the fence and a cable combination lock connecting the body and front tire to the fence. It was locked up around 2pm Sunday 07-24 and was first noticed missing at 5:15pm on Monday 07/25.

It was locked inside the fence of my apartment. NO ONE should be able to see through it. I left it there on Friday, was gone Saturday. It's gone when I check on Monday.

Bike front tire was locked to a street sign pole. Mistakenly didn't thread chain lock through the frame as well, front tire was left and frame was taken.

Bike was locked around 6 PM on Sunday evening and was stolen by 5 AM Monday morning when I went outside to take it to work. Bike lock is a sturdy cable that was looped through front tire and around the body of the bike. Lock and bike were both gone at 5 AM.

I live in a three floor flat. I was going down to the basement and noticed our side door was wide open. I go down to the bike room and both my bike and my girlfriend's trek bike was stolen.

The bike was locked using a U-lock to a bike rack in the court-yard. The theft happened over night, probably between 12-6am. A small piece of the U-lock remaining suggests that it was cut by a tool, and the remainder was removed from the scene.

Someone moved out of our condo and cut some bike locks. Stole my bike and perhaps others.

Bike was left in backyard unlocked. Sometime between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm, the thief rode up on another stolen bicycle, peeked over our fence and saw my unsecured bike and found it more to their liking. They ditched the other bike they stole in my carport and rode mine east down the alley, stopping at the end to cut the zip ties that held a black milk crate to the cargo rack and discarded the milk crate and u lock in the middle of the alley. The bike left behind was short bmx style, possibly children's size? Looks brand new, so maybe it was taken directly from a store or someone who just bought it. Any help finding it's proper home would also be greatly appreciated.
