My bike was stolen sometime between 4pm, when I had last ridden and seen the bike, and 8pm, when I noticed it was missing. The bike was locked to a metal support beam on the side walkway of my apartment. This walkway is behind a locked exterior gate, but either front or rear gate may have been left open by other apartment tenants. My cable lock was cut and left on the ground nearby. A nearby unlocked bike in much less ridable condition was left untouched.

Sometime in the past week (first few days of May) a new specialized sirrus hybrid commuter/fitness bike was stolen from our locked garage. The bike itself was stored at the back of the garage behind 3 cars, and hung from the ceiling, with a heavy duty bordo 6500 xplus folding lock securing the front wheel to the bike frame. The bike lock was stolen along with the lock. There is no other entry or exit unless someone is hopping a high, locked, gangway fence to get into the yard and then into the garage door through the back.

Sometime between 6 and 7 a.m. someone entered our garage and stole the bike. It was locked with an ARBUS lock. The entire bike was removed through the back door, which they left open. The lock was still on it. They dumped my helmet in the recycling bin at the back door - so there's that at least.
