This bike is almost brand new. It was locked on the 7th floor of my building garage with a U-lock. The bike was stolen last night between the hours of 6pm and 10am. The garage is secure and has two levels of secure access - Ground level garage door and 4th level. The only way the bike could leave the building is in a car, otherwise the thief is either a resident or an accomplice in the theft and the bike is still in the building somewhere.

Two Kyptonite u-locks and lock on-guard skewers do nothing when the thief dismantles the bike rack in your building. At least it will make this theft a PITA. Locked the bike to the racks in the basement as it was nice out and using my summer bike. Went to check on it this morning and it was gone.

Bike was stolen from a condo building garage at night. It was locked to a wall mounted bike rack with a onGuard u-lock. The lock was missing with the bike. Most likely it was cut as there are metal shavings underneath. The thief was caught on the security camera riding away on the bike but was was well covered up and no clear picture of his face was recorded. He was wearing a messenger bag where he most likely carried his tools.

Someone removed the "No Parking" sign my bike was locked to (newer u-lock with flat key). They left the sign but took my bike. I have a pretty busy street so it must have been fairly late at night. I think they just rocked the sign back and forth until it came apart.

I U-locked my bike with my girl friend's bike on the other side of the pole, which was a chicago sign, that WAS bolted to the base, at the end of Critical Mass to see the Polkaholics play at Lincoln Lanes. Pole was located outside Lincoln Lanes, Near the Mc Donalds on the corner. People outside saw the guy unbolt and lift the pole it was locked to, and ride off wearing low top green sneakers, wearing knickers, backpack, longer hair to about his shoulders.
