Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Locked bike up on rack outside of Northwestern Hospital on 251 Huron St. for night shift at around 6:50pm. Came out the following morning 11/21 to find it gone. Unclear how they defeated the lock but there was nothing at the scene.

Bikes were locked in the garage - someone used a crowbar to gain entry overnight and stole 2 bikes.

The electric gate leading into the parking area of my apartment building was left open, so someone wandered into the garage and walked out with the bike.

Someone broke into my garage and stole the bike in the middle of the night

I came to unlock my bike and it was gone.

Bike was locked to a wall hanger/hook with integrated steel cable lock. Secured w/Masterlock padlock. Cable was sheared and left at the scene.

My bike was secured inside my 3-car garage at 1054 N Paulina St. The garage is off of W Cortez. I had my bike on a rack on the wall. When I went downstairs this morning, the garage door was open and my bike was gone.

Bike locked to bike rack at 6:30 p.m. Returned at 9:30, and lock was cut - helmet and cable lock remained but bike missing.

Lock was left on the wooden pole and the bike was gone. Bike had not been locked with the U-Lock, only the heavy duty chain link lock.

I just filed another report under Cristian Mendoza for a black surly bike. Both his bike, and my bike, a great Trek bike with teal tape on the handlebars, were on our porch right outside of our condo. My husband came home from work around midnight and the bikes were still there. When he went out at 11 a.m. this morning, he noticed they were missing. We live in a condo, with 15 other units. They had to come thru the back gate (which is locked and a different key than even our front door gate), and go up three sets of stairs to pull the bikes from where they were in a little nook on our porch (out of site).

Cristian came home from work after midnight on 11.10.21 and our bikes were in the usual spot. We've lived here for 2+ years and have kept them in the same spot. When he went to our back deck at 11 a.m. this morning, he noticed both of our bikes were missing (I will file another report with my bike information as well). We live in a condo in Logan Square and only people with a key to the back gate have access. They had to go thru that door, and up two flights of stairs to get to our back door. The bikes were out of sight, in our little nook on our porch, right beside our back door. In the photo attached, you'll see the all black bike.

Last I distinctly remember seeing the bike was on Saturday, October 30. It was locked to the gate of my apartment complex with an ABUS Bordo Granit X-Plus 6500 Folding Lock on the INSIDE of the locked gate around the courtyard. I noticed it missing on the morning of Tuesday, November 9. There was no sign of the bike or lock.

The bike was stolen at Lane Tech College Prep High School, from the long fence parallel to the entry of the parking lot on Addison St.

I went in to ALDI's to buy some groceries for no more than 20 minutes, and when I came out my bike and the lock were both missing.

Bike was locked to bike racks outside school during the school day. The lock was cut and bike was taken.

Yesterday we noticed that the bike was missing from the ground level basement. We have not checked on the bike in about 3 weeks, so the incident could have happened any time over the last 3 weeks. Whoever took it entered through the back door.
