This bike was customized. Had a Brooks black leather seat, and very expensive rims. One black rim and tire. One white rim and tire. It also had a tall whip checkerboard flag on the back. Also had a very unique large silver horn and checkerboard mirrors on the handlebars.

Bike has always been in our attached garage when not being ridden.
Incident Description: 
We have a 2 car garage. One garage door for each side. The side that contained our family's bikes was closed. The side where our car was parked was open. You cannot see into the garage unless you walk inside. The thief scratched up the side of our car removing the bike from the opposite side of the garage. There was a medical supply pack on the back of the bike. A couple of the contents were strewn about the driveway. I believe the bike was stolen from our garage and loaded into a van or uhaul type truck. With the tall checkerboard flag on the back it could not have been stuffed into a car or a covered pickup. It was a well known bike in the area. Someone was waiting for their opportunity and got it.

The bike was outside of the apartment before the Billy Joel concert. I verified that it was still there and locked at 8 pm. I made dinner at my apartment and once again checked outside around 10 pm to check on the status of the bike and listen to the end of the concert. I assume it was stolen by someone returning from the concert. I woke up at 7 am and saw that my bike was not there, and the Combination Cord Lock was cut and left on the rocks in front of the apartment building.
