Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

I left my Bike locked through both wheels (cable) and attached (lock) to the post outside of Eduardo's Enoteca on Dearborn. I've kept my bike here numerous times throughout the last 2 months. I checked my bike Saturday night at 12:00AM and when I checked again the next morning it was missing except for the front tire and lock (picture included). There was a clean and professional cut to the bike lock that seemed very professionally executed.

Hanging out at a friend's apartment. Bike was gone, and lock was gone when I tried to leave.

Bike was left overnight in a friend's locked storage room. Several other bikes of varying condition were stored in room, without being locked up. My friends mountain bike and mine were the only two taken. They have stored their bike there for over a year with no prior issues. Left it at 11pm last night, they checked in on it at 6pm today to find both bikes gone, but my helmet still there.

We put the bike out back to move to the garage, but in packing for a trip did not move it until the next day, but by then it was gone. There is no way to file a police report online and when I have called 311 in the past, no one has answered, so we do not have a police report number yet.

Parked my bike in cycle rack 2 days back where other bikes where there , this morning I found it missing.

I had just unlocked my bike when I received an emergency phone call - in my distraction, left bike unattended as unlocked. 15 minutes later, bike was gone

The bike was locked to my apartment building gate. The gate was kept unlocked.

The bike was stolen sometime between 6pm and 9am. It was locked to the Thule rack with the rack's lock and also attached to the car with my Kryptonite U-lock. The Thule lock was cut and the Kryptonite lock was nowhere to be seen. I did see possible shavings around my car as if the lock were grinded, but I can't be certain.

4 story condo with enclosed garage. 7 condo occupants. Bike was on a 2 tier bike rack on the top leaning against the back wall of the garage.

Two bikes were stolen; only part of one of the two u locks was remaining. No other bikes in the room were stolen.

I locked my bike last night at Franklin and lake on the northwest side of the block to a bike lock rack in front of the business there. I locked it through the handle bars, front wheel and frame. I went to pick it up today and the lock was there and visibly cut. I picked up the lock and checked the combo and it was indeed my lock. The bike was custom built and custom painted the way I wanted. It is one of a kind. Should be easy to spot from the picture I provided.

I locked bike to tree in front of my building and went to move car, came back less than 20 mins later and lock was cut and bike gone.

Tenant below me got into a physical altercation with me because he didn't like where i locked my bike. I called the police on this tenant and received a report for assault. Now, coincidently, my bike has been stolen from my storage spot that i moved it to.

Not exactly sure when it happened but I got home from work on 7/29 ~5pm and my bike was missing.
