Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

I took my bike for a tune-up early in May, and picked it up on 5/15, and when returning it to my storage space where many people in my building keep their bikes, where it's been for like 15 years without incident, I noticed the storage room lock was busted and the door would not even stay shut. I reported it to my landlord, but the work order shows it wasn't completed/fixed until 6/27!! Was out of town over the 4th, came back and went into the storage space. The lock is now fixed, TONS of other bikes and junk are still in there, but not MY bike. It's probably not worth a lot, but to have something for years in the same spot - I just want to know, you know? Why MY bike? It's not even that nice!! This probably won't come to anything, but any info or whatever appreciated.

Broke into garage, broke rear passenger window and took bike.

Had the bike in my gated backyard, not visible from the sidewalk or rear alley. The gate was left open and I believe a neighbor had adjusted my bike slightly so it may have been seen by a passerby.

My Bike was in the parking garage of my apt building locked to the wall with the buildings wire lock and my bulldog u-lock

Some time during the night, someone removed the screen from our window and snuck into our garage stealing two bikes. They appear to have unlocked the door and left through our standard sized door through the back yard.

My bike got stolen at the Bicycle orange parking spot at the playground at Riis Park. My bike was near my little sister bicycle before it got stolen.

Bike was locked with two cable locks to a bike rack near 11 E. Cedar Street in Chicago. Both locks were cleanly cut and left at the scene.

My bike was well hidden under our back porch. Not visible at all to the street, back alley, or side yards. Our yard is enclosed by an 8 foot fence that is padlocked. My husband saw my bike under the porch at 7 am when he left for work and when he returned home around 4:30 it was missing.

We were eating at the waterfront Cafe 6219 n Sheridan. The bike was 30 feet from me. The host saw 3 teenagers acting suspiciously and they took the bike when he turned away.

I came to visit my Friends around 5.30 pm. I left the my bike at the lobby without lock and stay overnight with my friends Apt. next morning around 6 am.I did not see my bike. I come to visit my friends every week and sometime I ride the bike here and left the bike at the lobby.

Bike was left outside in front yard. For about 30mins before it was stolen.

Cable was cut and bike was taken. I have a handful of photos of bike, location, and surrounding security cameras that may have captured the theft.

Bike was locked up on a metal fence near the back entrance of my building. I have been leaving it there for a week and had taken it to a friends on Wednesday. I locked up the bike at 10:58pm (7/3) and returned to ride it today (7/5) at 1:25pm only to find it missing. Another broken U-bar lock that didn't belong to me was found where my bike had been and my lock was nowhere in the alleyway.

Between 9:30pm 7/4/2019 - 7:30 AM 7/4/2019 bike was stolen off bike rack on my vehicle (Black Buick Encore SUV) on N. Paulina St. It was locked with a U Lock through the front tire and frame plus a cable combination lock through front/back tires and rack.

Bike was parked inside the Fullerton red line station, past the turnstiles. Left for the white sox game came back 4hrs later and the bike was gone. CTA Personnel said all I could do was call and file a police report.
