Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Bike was left unattended in front of 111 W Jackson Blvd. After returning 2 minutes later, it was gone.

Bike was in the garage connected to my condo unit. The only way in is with a key or remote for the garage door. I do not lock the bike once inside since it is fairly secure. I imagine someone waited until someone entered the garage with their car and then entered the garage after them while the door was still open. Two other road bikes were taken as well.

I rode my bike to work and returned Thursday evening around 6 PM. I brought the bike in to the attached parking garage that is only accessible if you have a key or remote for the garage door. I do not lock my bike once inside since all entry ways are locked.

I rode my bike to a friend's place on Monday night and arrived at 7pm. I locked my bike up in front of the building. By the time I left around 9pm, the bike and lock were gone.

Stolen sometime between Mon 2/20 8pm and Tue 2/21 9pm. Locked to a bike rack on a sidewalk of a reasonably well-traveled street, using both a Kryptonite u-lock and a Kryptoflex steel cable secured with a separate mini u-lock. There was nothing but bare ground when I came back--no lock pieces, no sawdust, nothing.

The bike was stolen sometime between 10:30 pm on 2/21/17 and 12:30 pm 2/22/17. It was in my garage, but the garage lock was broken off and when I came out in the morning, although my car was still there (it was locked, my bike was gone. The door was not closed fully on the garage, which was alarming and when I opened the garage, the first thing I saw was my bike was gone.

Bicycle was u-locked to a bike rack on the sidewalk in front of my apartment overnight. When I went down the next morning, the bicycle was gone, and there was no sign of the lock.

The bike was not locked, but it was in front of my front door behind a locked gate, The person broke the gate to get in.

Bike was locked in public parking garage attached to my building. Lock must have been cut, there may be cut marks near the bottom bracket on the bike.

Bike was locked in front of Harold Washington Library, but gone when I came to get it.

Locked my bike up on the official bike wrack outside the building and when I came out 3 hours later it was gone :(.

Side garage door was broken into. Bike stolen sometime between last night and this morning.

Item was stolen from a locked storage unit. Perpetrators broke storage door. Removed wheels and replaced them with new tubes. Attached photo is of bike of the same model, not the actual stolen bike.

Bock was locked in front of Lincoln Park Conservatory. Went inside to see flower show and took short walk through Zoo - bike was gone upon my return. Someone clearly had the area staked out because there were tons of people around during this time. Other bikes arrived after mine and were locked with u locks so this was a quick in and out steal. Cable was cut.

The bike was in our garage for sure on Sat, Feb 11. We think it was there last night (Mon, Feb. 13). We noticed it was gone today (Tues, Feb. 14).
