Many other bikes were still locked there, but there was no trace of mine. I can only guess as to how the thief or thieves was able to defeat the 2008 Kryptonite u lock I was using

My bike was left—locked to one of the bike racks on Ashland, under the highway—outside the Metra Clybourn station between 4:10pm and 9:30pm on Monday, September 21st. There was no evidence, from what I could tell, that the bike had ever been there when I returned for it. My friend's bike had also been stolen in this manner recently.

Someone broke into the condo's garage and stole my bike, but left my husband's bike. Both bikes hung from the same rack that is mounted to the garage wall where each bike had Kryptonite U-Lock through the front wheel and frame then locked to the rack with a chain lock. The chain lock had been cut, but left hanging there. My husband's bike seems to be untouched. Generally, the car prevents someone from getting to the bikes, but since the car wasn't there all weekend, they were accessible. My bike was taken at some point between Sept 16th 8:30pm and Sept 20th 6:30pm. Please help.

Bike was locked to a rack next to a University of Chicago building, recently installed and well-lit. Left bike there (outside of a friend's place) due to unusual circumstances, and did not need to use until Monday morning (9/21), when it was discovered to be missing at about 9:00 AM. The rack had not been broken, and the U-lock and bike are both gone.

Someone broke into the (locked) first floor bike locker of my apartment building, cut the lock of mine and at least one other bike, then ripped the entire rack from its concrete mooring and tried to slide off a U-lock bike, but failed at this endeavor. They also appear to have pissed on the floor, which is really gross. Reported to University of Chicago police and to landlord.

This was a 2006 Black Specialized Tri-Cross with gray lettering. On the bottom of the frame it had a lot of discoloration from locking it up on bike racks. It had a Johnny Sprocket's sticker on it. It also had my number from the triathlon on it #3319. The grips were starting to show some wear and the seat on it had a cable connecting it to the pole. It had a mount for a rear light under the seat along with a mont for a light and a computer on the handlebars.

The bike was locked up in a secure bike room in the basement of our condo. Someone had to break in the front door and then into the bike room to steal this. I last used the bike at about 3pm on 9/15 and noticed it was gone the morning of 9/17. But I just that someone else in our bldg had some stuff stolen in a storage unit adjacent to the bike room the night of 9/15 or the morning of 9/16 so I'm assuming my bike was taken at the same time (early on the 16th). There were other bikes in the room that didn't get taken so I guess I was the unlucky one here. We believe that the thief tried to come back last night because our door look to be jimmy'd with.
