Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Bike was stolen out of our garage right after its maiden ride. This bike was going to be used for the MS150 bike ride and generate money for a worthy cause. It needs to be found and returned. Not only was it a gift from my husband, but my sister has battled MS for 35 years. This was going to be my first of many rides. Please help me find it.

The bike was locked to an iron fence, nest to another bike which was not stolen. Both bikes had new krypotnite locks, but mine got cut through. My bike was seen by a friend within 1 hour of it being stolen. It was during a party and people were leaving so they must have cut through it quickly.

Bike was locked to a bike rack with a new U-Lock. I went inside for 1 hour and came out to find my bike gone.

This bike and other bikes has been stored overnight in the stairwell of my apartment building for years without incident. Access to the building and stairwell requires a key. Nobody ever locked their bikes in here as we thought it was safe. On Feb 25, it just disappeared. According to some workers in the building, it was gone a day ago. Only my bike was stolen. There was another Trek bike beside it, also not locked, but not stolen. Please call me or text me if you see this bike. I really love it. Thank you.

I accidentally left my bike unlocked in front of the corner store across the street from the high school. I came back several hours later to find it missing.

The incident was caught on video surveillance. The teenager was light skinned, dark haired and about 5'10" possibly. He was wearing a black hoodie and had a black backpack. He may be from Northside College Prep (where the bike was stolen from), Von Steuben, Amundsen or Roosevelt High School.

it was locked up at the clybourne metra stop on armitage & ashland. lock & bike were gone a few hours later.

I parked my bike on the rack right in front of Ridgeland green line station doors on Tuesday 2/23 approx 9am. When I returned to Oak Park on greenline on Wednesday evening, the bike was gone. Lock was still on the rack with bumblebee crocheted lock cozy on the U part (think yellow & black stripes). Bike was locked thru frame & rear wheel when I left on Tuesday.

Bike was locked together with my fiances bike in our garage. They were locked on a stand, and everything was stolen, including metal bike stand. Bikes are in great condition and brand new! Please help us locate these bikes! Thank you for all your help! (victim did not provide contact info-- admin)

I left it locked up at the Clybourn Metra Station during the day while I was at work. Bike Rack area is located at a busy intersection.

The bike was on the back deck which is on the 3rd floor and there is a locked door at street level. Perp jumped a rail to get on steps. We had just returned from shopping and came in through the back door. The bike was there and we left wine on the deck, which they also stole. We went in to watch the football game at 4PM and when I came back out to get some wine, noticed the theft.

I had left my bike locked in THE GARAGE OF MY OWN APARTMENT BUILDING, TWELVE TWELVE ON SOUTH MICHIGAN. It was attached to a metal pole in the first floor along with other bikes. I had not used it for about a month before the first time I realized it was missing. The lock was a TREK (by Kryptonite) Street-Wise U lock. I found it locked back in the same position, without signs of being forced. There is no security camera pointing to that spot, but there is a security camera that registers entrance and exit through the front garage door, though there is at least 4 other ways to get out of the garage.

Girlfriend drove home, and opened the garage at 10pm. All 4 bikes were gone, including Takara, Black Mongoose Mountain Bike, Silver Specialized Mountain Bike with Obama/Biden sticker, and SE Lager Chocolate Brown color road bike. The garage was closed, and the garage door was locked. Police believe culprit(s) could've had a remote device to open garage (because there was no damage done to the garage), or someone homeless who roams through the alley might've gotten lucky.

i went to go see a friend who was struck by a car on her bicycle, and is in rehab for it. when i came back, everything was gone. i had smoked a cigarette before going inside, and naturally checked over everything, it was all secure, and there was a bolt with nut through the signpost. when i came back, there was still a bolt with a nut on it at the bottom of the signpost. i can only assume that someone came along, decided they wanted it, and had a wrench, and lifted up the signpost.

According to a neighbor who saw the man stealing my bike. He was a Latino man with longer hair and a black jacket. He used an industrial strength saw. The neighbor yelled at him, but the man played it off as if it was his bike.

I went down to the parking garage to get my bike and it was gone, nothing was left, no lock or anything. I have had it two weeks. Im not sure how they took it unless they cut the lock and for some reason took it with them. it is very strange.

My bike was locked up with 3 other bikes, and mine was the only one stolen. There were some footprints in the snow around my bike that looked like women's prints, but were indistinguishable. I ride my bike all the time, and would really like it back, if you have any information at all I'd appreciate it immensely.

Again, I am near certain I know which garage it went into because I simply looked for tracks in the snow. It is one of two garages right near my back side alley entrance. I called 911, they said they would come, and 30-35 minutes later, I was freezing and had to get to dinner with my family so I left. A Neighbor let me look in garage. It was not there but one car of a trucker was also not there? It was not visible from the sidewalk, I heard a garage or gate door opening when i got there to rush to get my bike lock, at most 3 minutes gone. thanks
