Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Bike was outside in small, high fenced area with locked gate. May have been lifted over fence.

Wheels checked and inflated week and half prior, not checked since this point. This was the date bike was discovered missing, had been stored without incident for 2 years.

I was at Paradise Park with coworkers and when I went to leave, my bike was gone.

There were two bikes locked up behind my house . Checked this morning to see both bikes and the lock missing . Hoping to find it please let me know ! It’s is bright white fix gear with brown seats and handle bars with neon orange accents . Tires are white as well

New black and white specialized bike. Has a circular drink holder on handle bars.

Bike was locked at 8:30pm May 10 and was missing by 9:00am May 11.

Bike was stored in a locked bike room which should only be accessible by tenants. The front tire was locked to the frame using a U lock. Upon going to retrieve my bike to take her for a tune up I discovered she was taken along with the lock and accessories.

Sometime between Saturday night (5/7/2022) and Sunday morning, someone broke into the bike storage room in our 4-unit apartment building and stole my bike. Only entrance is through the front door, which automatically locks, and then through a locked storage room door. Someone came back the next night and stole two more bikes.

Locked the bike to a bike rack just steps from the front door to my office building in the loop. Locked the bike around 8:55 with a u-lock through the rear wheel and frame, with a cable from the front wheel also locked to the u-lock. Bike was not there when I left after 5:00. There was no debris or other physical evidence that the lock was broken. All traces of the bike, lock, and cable were gone. The fact that this happened on a busy street, there was no mess, and that I recognized the other bikes I parked around in the morning makes me paranoid that I did not have the lock fully engaged when I walked away in the morning.

Bike was locked to a thick metal street light pole with a combination cable lock at 11 W Illinois St (my workplace). Assuming it was probably cut. My company does not have security cameras on the front of the property.

The bike was locked at the corner of state and randolph outside of block 37. I left it for a few hours and when I came back the bike was gone and the lock cut.

Noticed bike missing in the morning from bike rack.

Bike was on my back deck (~15') , inside a 12' locked fence area. Deck also has a locked door. Thief must have climbed up the fence and up onto the deck to get the bike. Was not easily visible from road.

I was coming back from something and the bike was gone from its spot.

Bike was locked to a bike rack on a sidewalk next to the Merchandise Mart on Wells Street

Bike was left locked to itself on the second floor of a residential garage. Perpetrators gained illegal access to the garage after scoping the building for a few days. They took the bike from its wall rack, rode around the garage looking for more to steal, and then left.

I am not sure exactly when the bike was stolen. The person-door of the garage was unlocked, so someone could have come in at any point to take the bike, which was locked to itself, but not to anything else.
