Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

I am not sure of the specific time and date of the incident but the last time I saw it was last week. On Sunday the 18th was the date that I actually realized it was stolen.

Bike was locked to another bike inside a residential parking garage of 1609 W WARREN BLVD CHICAGO IL 60612. Lock was cut and both bikes stolen. Garage only accessible with code or key fob.

Lock was cut, but not left a scene

I went to the garage area of my building which has a locked bike storage area that only residents can get into with their key fab. I don’t lock my bike with the bike lock there because the cage is locked. I went down at 4 pm to get my bike and it was missing.

I work night shift at Lurie children's hospital and locked my bike up outside the entrance on E. Chicago Ave. as have for every other night shift and when i was leaving work this morning around 7:45am there was no bike to be found.

Monday, September 19th, 2022 (4: 00 PM) - Bike was secured to sidewalk bicycle stand in front of 814 N. Franklin street (independent publishers group & nomad cafe) in River North. The bike was locked secured to bike stand with the frame and back wheel locked. Monday, September 19th, 2022 (5: 41 PM) - Bike was nowhere to be found/stolen along with the bike lock. 814 N. Bike was placed in the front yard someone came in the yard and stole it

Went on a weekend trip, cam back and the bike was gone.

I returned from downtown to the Edgebrook Metra train station at 912- pm. The bike was present and still locked to the bike rack on the Lehigh side rack closest to the parking lot. I left the bike locked to the rack while I went to eat. When I returned to ride the bike home at 1115 pm, the bike and lock were gone. I walked around the station, but the bike was not there. The bike is registered with the City of Chicago bike registration system. It was only a few months old.

U lock was cut and bike was removed sometime in between 1:00am and 11:30am. Bike had wheel locks securing wheels to frame.

Bike was Locked outside of Broken English pub. Upon return, bike missing and lock loose.

Found missing outside midday on the 1st of August.

CTA Yellow Line Dempster. Grab and Go possible to train. Camera ten feet in front of bike rack. About 12th time parked there. Camera above ten feet in front of racks/attacheed to station. If entered station, thief could have just gotten onto train/there would be more camera footage inside the station, of course, than the little one outside in front of the racks. Leftbik 93oam home 8pm to Station...gone.

Bike was locked since 9/15/22 8am. Theft occurred between 8am 9/15 and 8am 9/16. Signs of motorized saw or bolt cutter evident to cut Abus Granit padlock and grind down Abus heavy-duty bike chain.

Bike was in porch area of townhouse behind gate, partially visible from sidewalk. Unlocked (I forgot to move it), but in an enclosed area overnight. Seems likely the person was poking around and realized it was there for the taking.

I went down stairs to my garage to go to the gym and noticed my bike was gone. It's a pretty secured garage with a camera. Waiting to get camera footage. Someone had to use like a saw. I have a pretty heavy duty foldy lock.

Came downstairs to get bike/ Three bikes had been locked, two were gone. one left at scene.
