Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Bike was on a rack in the 3rd floor of my apartment building which is supposed to be locked. They're doing building maintenance and have left the doors open for the last few days.

Bike was locked outside of logan square cta station. When I went to grab it it was gone and the lock was sitting cut where I left it.

Garage near 1200 W Belmont was accidentally left open and bike was gone from the rack upon return.

I had my bike in my backyard, I saw it that morning but it was gone when I looked again around 7pm.

Lock my bike to the pole. Came back 20 minutes later and it was gone. Lock was gone too.

Stolen from locked bike room within midsize condo building that requires a resident or staff key to access. Bike was secured to rack with cable having integrated key lock threaded through the frame and front tire, which is also missing.

Locked the bike in the bike rack in front of the building to visit my friend and when I came out the bike was gone.

I locked my bike up outside the XSport on North Ave. When I came out of the gym and just my front wheel and u-lock were left but the lock hadn't been cut. The workers at the gym and in the parking garage attached told me there are no cameras in that area, so I did not call regarding this and waste your time, but wanted to file a report at least about the incident. I unfortunately do not have a picture of my bike to share.

My bike was locked in our covered back porch. My girlfriend came back and noticed that the back porch door was unlocked and wide open. The bike was also gone.

Bike stolen from within my garage in a Lincoln Park alleyway.

Bike was in basement storage area since moving into apartment in November. Was stolen this afternoon.

Bike kept in my relatively enclosed backyard, stowed underneath back deck to stay conspicuous. Stolen from this location between 1 am, early monday morning night and 5pm monday afternoon.

Bike was inside the parking garage in my building in Lakeview. The parking garage is not accessible from anyone outside the building. It's possible someone hopped a fence to enter the parking area. The bike was locked with a cable lock, which was cut.

I had my bike parked outside the Starbucks near 111 E Chestnut St on the gold coast. I had the front wheel secured by cable, and the rear wheel and frame secured to a street sign (~8ft tall) by a Kryptonite u-lock. I have secured it in this position many nights before, but when I came back after 3 days out of town, the bike nowhere to be found.

Corner of Pinegrove and Irving park road. Left on street locked from 2pm-6pm. Kryptonite lock missing along with bike.

The lock was cut overnight and the bike was stolen from the blue edgewater bike rack it was locked to.
