Bike was stollen from the locked storage room in our apartment building. Cable lock is also missing

We drove bikes last Sunday. We did not check on them until 30 minutes ago. It was in a locked building in a locked storage room and looked to bike rack along with another stollen (filed separate report).

Bike was stolen from sidewalk in front of apartment. I heard the lock get cut, ran outside and chased the person. I caught sight of the person riding the bike two blocks south and saw them turn onto Paulina and then Milwaukee going northwest before I lost sight. When i got back to where it was stolen, I noticed that the person had left the bolt cutters used to cut the lock on the sidewalk. I filed the police report over the phone, and then got into a car and headed to look for the bike. In the car, I caught sight of the person going north on Wood (two blocks west of where it was stolen). This was about 15 minutes after the bike was stolen. I called 911 while following the person and told the operator where the person was heading. The person was chased onto North ave., then north on Hermitage, east on Bloomingdale and then north on an alley parallel to Hermitage before the person was out of sight. At that point I was off the phone with the operator and was told to wait in that area for an officer to show up. I talked to two different officers at that intersection before heading back. They said they would keep a look out for the bike.

A few friends of mine had a party at their apartment in Wrigleyville and my brother and I left our bikes an a hallway within the apartment. Many people that we didn't know showed up, and the bikes were stolen from the apartment around 1 AM, as people started to leave. I've talked to multiple people who were there but I've had no luck, filing a police report tonight or tomorrow. The bike may be around downtown or the Columbia campus.

I was at Ribfest. I locked my bike around 2 blocks North of Irving Park rd on Damen. The bike was locked through the front wheel and frame. When I came back to get my bike after attending rib fest I found the parking sign that the bike was locked to was pulled from the ground and bike gone.

Bike was stolen from fenced-in, locked side yard some time during the night of July 3rd.

Left bike in front of house for ten minutes to check on a job site. Came out and it was gone. Someone must have come upon it, saw that it was unlocked, and just rode away.

We had put two bikes on bike racks in (what we thought) was our secure townhome complex parking garage. You need either a garage door opener or key to enter the garage. We had just recently moved here and locked two bikes together through the frames - the cable was cut and both bikes were stolen.

The bike was in the locked basement, someone must have left the basement unlocked.

Bike was in a locked residential garage. Garage door was kicked in, breaking a deadbolt.

Bike was locked to iron fence and when i went to get my bike the next morning, the iron bar on fence was cut. a few other bikes were stolen in the same way at the same time.

The bike was locked with a cable combo key lock to a bike rack, also was locked to another bikes frame through the front wheel of my bike with a heavy duty hip lock. My cable lock was cut and left at the scene, the person had to have cut the spokes on the front wheel to release it from the other bike with the hip lock. The person rode up on a black bike stopped, messed with his helmet like he was going to park his bike, leaned down pulled out something from his shoulder strap, then the camera from the place where the bike was parked "went out for 5 minutes." Humm think something funny going on?

This was a premeditated attack. No one would know our bikes were there locked together and held with cable unless someone had showed them. Three bikes were stolen. Mine and my boyfriends were the only ones locked. They took the other non locked one and left one there unlocked. My bike is very new. It's a little rusty from this last winter, but in great shape. It would be with a white EVIL IMPERIAL men's mountain bike.

It's our home. This was a premeditated attack. They had to climb fences OR know someone in our building. We are thinking professional bike thieves. This bike is super special and we are looking for it. Please buy if you see it or call and we could pay you back if that's the case. It is with my girlfriends bike. A powder blue GT women's mountain bike.

Stolen out of locked garage between hours of 4pm and Midnight. Bike had helmet and u-lock resting on handlebars. All three pieces stolen.

I locked the bike with my kryptonite u-lock to a street sign. I noticed a stetchy person sitting on the sidewalk near my bike sleeping so I made sure to lock it up properly. After leaving the GolfTec store 2 hours later, the street sign was in tact but my lock was at the bottom of the street sign and the bike obviously gone.

It happened in the middle of the day on a busy Diversy avenue in the mids of crowed. This thief is going around our neighborhood with a tool that cuts bike locks and is steeling around. He needs to be stopped!
