Locked bicycle to bicycle rack to get groceries at Safeway. When I returned it was gone. Filed Police report with San Francisco Police Department Report #091214133. $500 Reward for the safe return of bicycle.

the bike was stolen off of my front porch, it was locked (frame and front wheel) It happened within 2am and 5am on april 23 2010.

Bike was locked to a sign post at the north end of the east parking lot (off Kinzua St) at the Edgebrook Metra Station. Kryptonite lock to the back wheel and frame. Bike and lock were missing. Bike is a black Trek Soho S with fenders and a back rack.

I had locked the bike to a fence in front of a dental office in a residential neighborhood. I had checked it in the evening before going home. When I came out to unlock it in the morning, it was missing, along with the lock. The fence did not appear damaged.

U-lock was broken and taken with bike, as well as the cable lock which was around the front tire. It happened very quickly, within an hour and a half, while I was in a yoga class.

I've repeatedly parked my bike here at the corner of Carmen and Clark streets in Andersonville overnight. The single bike rack was located directly under a lamp post, next to a restaurant in a medium-traffic area of the neighborhood. I parked it here Sunday afternoon around 3pm with my new Kryptonite lock through the tire and frame and saw it again Monday morning at 7:30 a.m. on my way to work. Returning Wednesday evening around 7:30 p.m., the bike and lock were completely gone. Jerks.

Custom front wheel stolen off bike. Not a lot of time to take it, so was probably observed locking the bike and the F*&&*$#$&*# AS90943e HOLE who took it just stepped up, took off wheel and disappeared. Other bikes that I'm familiar with along that stretch of LaSalle were missing seats and wheels (which they usually aren't), so either there has been a recent problem with this and people are being more careful, or the A$$ H01@ who took it was doing a quick rip-off all the way down the block. Silver Kore low-flange hub with annodized bronze QR lever. Silver Mavic rim.

The bike was locked to a parking meter through the front wheel and frame using a U-Lock. The back wheel and frame was also secured using a cable. I went to a party at the residence for about 1.5-2 hours and stepped out to the local grocery when I realized the bike was gone. A piece of the lock was left on the ground, and it was clearly cut apart. The area is pretty high traffic, and it was taken in broad day light.

Was stolen during the day between 10am and 3pm. the sign it was locked to was cut or unbolted and the bike along with the krypto chain was taken

Someone within my building broke the tabs to the door of my locker in storage and the bike was stolen. No other bikes in the locker area were messed with.

I left bike at Metra train station (Harlem Avenue station) in Berwyn at 8 a.m. on Thursday April 15th. When I returned around 5 p.m. the bike was gone. I had a kryptonite U-lock with a large cable. My mistake was to just use the cable to lock both wheels and frame. In other words, even though I used a u-lock, I only attached the u part to the bike rack which was attached to the cable that was wrapped around the frame and both wheels. All the thieves had to do was clip the cable and my bike was gone. One issue is that the bike rack is one of those wavy black metal ones with the thick pipes, making it very difficult to get my u lock looped around and attached to the frame. Also, note that my bike, while only 2 years old, was not the fanciest bike out there and had alot of dirt on it. At the time, I couldn't imagine it would have any value to a thief to risk going to jail for it. How wrong I was and sorry I am for making that assumption. This is the second bike i've had ripped in 3 years and will never ride anything to train but the dumpiest rustiest bucket i can find. woo hoo, the thieving swine win again.

Somone loosened both 15mm track bolts and two 10mm bolts on the chain tensioners and removed the wheel. They would have to have had tools for this theft. The thief is most likely a fixed gear rider. This occurred in broad day light with pedestrian and vehicle traffic around. The bike is a Surely Steamroller, Boston Baked Bean color, bie has both front and rear fenders. Was locked to the inside of fence in a decent neighborhood. Two other bikes at the scene but not touched.

Left in front of apartment building for 2mins while i went up to grab my camera charger and then it was gone.

Bike was locked to a bike rack with a cable padlock, and was stolen along with the lock.

Bike, U-lock, and both cable's were all missing when I got out of class.

BIKE HAD ULOCK FLAT KEY AND THICK CABLE LOCK BOTH LINKING THE BIKES TIRES AND FRAME TO BIKE STAND (UNSIDEDOWN U SHAPE)THERE WERE NO FRAGMENTS OF THE LOCK OR BIKE LEFT AT THE LOCATION.

locked bike outside station with newer kryptonite u-lock at 2 pm to go to work. got off train at midnight to find bicycle gone with no sign. bike was locked with u lock through front wheel and frame and cable threaded through back wheel.

Locked up securely went in to State Bar for a couple hours came out and the ulock was completely sawed through. Can't believe someone did this with people everywhere.

The bike was stored in the locked back hallway behind my apartment, which is only accessible through the back doors of the apartments in the complex. My other bike was not stolen. We noticed it was missing on the morning of Wednesday, April 7th. It was last seen Sunday morning, April 4th. I was out of town. I know, I'm an idiot, and it should have been locked. It was locked in that same spot all winter long, and I had removed the lock to move it the weekend before and didn't relock it like a dumbass.
