It could have been kids from the neighborhood who don't know what they're holding, or anyone else who knows the shop is there. The Recyclery is a community learning space, and during open shop our doors are always open. No bikes have ever been stolen from this location before.

Filed a police report, but am waiting to get report #. Unfortunately, there is a high amount of homeless individuals who hang around the hospital, I feel that it was most likely someone of that status.

Bike locked at around 9am down-town to a metal fence due to the bike-racks being full of other bikes. Came outside for lunch around 2pm to find the bike missing. Many other bikes were still locked to the fence and other bike-racks. Due to the high traffic of the area and the fact that as far as I know few if no other bikes were stolen I suspect that the thieves use "hit and run" tactics stealing bikes with bolt cutters and a truck. Bike may be found at used bike dealers.
