The theif took a pair of bolt cutters and removed the lock and rode off with it

Bike was stolen from my yard

Bike was locked to bike rack and was there for 24hrs. The bike was only locked by the tire and not the frame, so the frame was removed from the front tire. Leaving the front tire and lock at the rack.

Was having yard work and roof patching-crew of 4-6 men. They must have gotten in the garage in between chipping/disposal

On Friday night August 14th my trek madone 5.5 carbon fiber bike was stolen from my van. It's black with red handlebars and a red seat (seat has been changed since the photo was taken). I was parked right in front of the Pulaski Park pool in wickerpark area. Please contact me if you see my bike anywhere in the city or if you happen a cross a listing trying to sell it.

They must have jumped the fence and not only stole my bike but my roommates as well

**Bike was reported as recovered on 10/5/2020.** Was locked in basement of multifamily condo building to steel pole. Taken along with several other bikes.

Bike was taken from my back porch located on the alley. It appears that they ripped the deck pole off that the bike was chained too.

I don’t know exactly what time the theft happened. My building’s garage doesn’t have good places to lock up your bike, but it’s an enclosed area usually only accessible by residents, so people leave bikes unlocked there all the time. I checked on it after a couple days to make sure it was still there, and it wasn’t. No idea who took it or how they got in.

Garage was broken into late July/early August and bike was pulled from it. Jimmied the back door. Took only the bike and nothing else.

Stolen from a locked garage between 2 and 8 a.m., handprints left on garage door, targeted theft, nothing else was stolen.

Parked bike alongside several other bikes on Wabansia, on a bike rack, next to a Divvy station and behind some cars. Ate lunch outside across the street (Small Cheval). Went back and bike gone — Small Cheval was able to locate exact time and video through their surveillance video. At approximately 3:24 pm, a man approaches the bike. You can see him bend over by the lock for a couple of minutes. He stands up and walks down the block, out of the frame, while on his cell phone. Returns to the bike 1-2 min later, grabs it and rides off going East on Wabansia, under the L and through Park No. 529. When I returned to the bike rack, a different, pretty beat up bike was sitting next to where mine would have been, with no lock.

Garage door was left open and bike was stolen from inside a residential garage RECOVERY DESCRIPTION: CSBR received an email on August 17th: My bike and my roommate's were stolen from a garage that was accidentally left open. I posted my bike on CSBR immediately and within less than 24 hours, my bike was recovered and returned to me. My neighbor was out for a walk when he spotted three bikes stashed in bushes about half a mile away. He grabbed the bikes and stored them while he worked on finding their owners. A friend of his suggested he check CSBR and sure enough, he found my post and emailed/called me! So happy to have my wheels back. Thanks again!!

Bike was in garage which was accidentally left open and stolen with two other bikes.

I can home and noticed my house was burglarized and my bike was missing

I came out to my enclosed back porch of my apartment this morning to leave for work and found the cable that was wrapped around my bike and my roommate’s bike cut. Only my bike was stolen my roommate’s bike was still there.

My bike was in the enclosed back porch area of my apartment, not visible from the outside. I think one of my neighbors left our back door unlocked and someone entered and stole my bike. This occurred sometime between 2pm and 10:30pm. RECOVERED: I had been checking several online marketplaces weekly-ish since it was stolen last August. It showed up on OfferUp this week looking exactly the same as when it was stolen. Set up a meeting with seller and was able to convince both the guy selling the bike (who wasn't the thief) and the cops that it was mine because of all the things I'd added and that it even still had the sticker from my shop on it.

Even at 2 am in the night, the bike was still there. But, in the morning it disappeared out of nowhere. It was in a gated place everything locked up. On the balcony it was present, locked and fastened to the ledge.

Stolen overnight along with two other bikes. One cut lock left behind. Incident occured overnight, and individual(s) must have had a truck to remove the bikes from our (locked) back patio.
