Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

on the corner of north, milwauke, and division my bike was stolen, just west of the old flat iron bar and dr. martens at 1561 n milwauke ave

Bike locked in front of Art Institute. Helmet also locked. All gone. Sometime between 1:00 and 4:00pm.

Bike was stolen from the private bike storage room alongside the lock itself.

I just discovered the bike was missing today April 25th around 2pm because my neighbor posted a note on the basement door that her own bike was stolen which made me look for mine. We think the incident occurred about 2 weeks ago around the 11th of April based on her memory but have no idea exactly what day or time. I am guessing it was in the middle of the night but do not know.

We believe our garage door (where3 cars enter in the alley at my home) was left inadvertently open after we through out our garbage, either we foolishly forgot to shut the garage, or the burglar entered through the backyard door. We left to take a walk at 12:15 PM and returned at 1:15 PM. Our neighbor called to say "Your garage is open" at 2:15 PM. When I went to the garage the bikes were gone. Again, we have no idea how the burglar entered.

Bike stolen on the corner or roscoe and Southport in front of tuco and blondie. Two bikes were locked together to a bike rack with a U lock. The other bike was left with lock in tact. I think the lock was picked.

Locked bike in enclosed, locked garage at around 7:00 pm on Thursday, April 22nd. Upstairs neighbor, who shares garage, texted at 7:15 am on Friday, April 23rd to report that someone had broken into the garage and that my bike was gone. Thief/thieves clearly had a cutting device as my ABUS chain lock was cleanly cut through. Neighbor's thick Kryptonite chain lock was also cut through but seems as if thief/thieves gave up as they had two other Kryptonite chains on their bikes. Chain was around the frame of my bike and daughter's bike with daughter's bike locked with cable and u-lock to very thick metal arm of shelf that is securely attached to the wall of the garage. Seems as if thief/thieves forced garage door open. It was locked but is a light door/not a heavy-duty mechanism.

I arrived at the Lawrence CTA Red Line station at 7:45am and locked up my bike. This is a rack under the tracks right next to the station entrance - on the sidewalk. When I arrived at 8pm, it was gone - no lock was found at the scene.

Bike was taken from garage and noticed missing later that evening (1am Apr 22 2021)

I entered the locked room in the back and the bike and lock were gone off the hanging rack.

Resident left garage door open the morning of April 20th, 2021. An intruder came in around noon and stole 2 bikes from the garage. We do have a video of the intruder taking the Trek bike.

Bike was locked to front wheel. Front wheel was removed and rest of bike stolen. We have very clear video of the theft.

The bike was in a storage room in my building and in a storage cage within that storage room. The storage cage was locked with a combination chain lock. The locked was picked/opened, cage was opened, two bikes including mine were stolen.

Locked the bike in front of a Hair Salon in Chinatown while going to get tea, saw a few sketchy people but nothing out of the ordinary. Went upstairs to pick up my order and while standing in line i looked over and the bike was gone.

Bike was locked on a private deck with a u Lock to the deck. Deck was broken to free bike with U lock still on it. U Lock kryptonite RJ1269
