Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

In early to mid-October, the storage unit in my apartment was burglarized. The theft stole several items, among them were 3 racing bikes and the Alysa 1 listed here.

I went to the hair salon accross the street. Bike was locked along with helmet to a tree. The bike was infront of a busy Covid testing center. By the time I came out at 2PM, the bike was gone along with the helmet and lock.

Dude caught on camera after breaking the porch stake carrying the bike downstairs and fell on his ass.

I was at work from 2 pm - 4:30 pm. I made sure my bike was locked. Have parked it there for several years

Bike was intact, locked to my metal front fence/gate along with a handful of other bikes, at 10:00pm the night of 10/26. At 8:00am the morning of 10/27, the bike and U-lock and cable locking up the wheels were all gone. The bike was locked via the frame to the fence, and there was no damage to fence nor evidence of how they could've gotten through the U-lock.

Bike was stolen from locked basement storage unit.

The door to the basement storage room was left open and when I looked inside the bike was gone.

THe bike was on the rack inside the garage of my apartment building and I noticed today that it was gone.

Bike was locked to back porch for the first two weeks we moved into the apartment. Neighbors above us had a bike stolen night before that was not locked. The next night when I came outside, I saw the bike lock had been cut and bike was missing.

Bike was stolen from personal storage room in my condo building. Person pried open exterior door and then the door to my storage room to steal the bike, Thule bike rack, and air pump.

The bike was leaning against a storage unit in the basement of a six unit condominium. There were two other bikes stolen with my Fyxation Pixel. We live in Logan Square and have heard of other robberies in the neighborhood extremely similar to ours. We have a security camera that captured the incident and have a clear image of their faces. We’re unclear as to how they (one male and one female) got access to the basement of the building, we think they picked the lock somehow.

There was an unlocked bike located exactly where my bike had previously been minutes before, so I'd assume someone biked by, saw the bike and stole it, then left the bike that they arrived on?

I locked my bike on Nov 3rd and went back out to it on Nov 6. Just learned from my roommates that it was there earlier on Nov 6. Must have been around 4pm.

Bike was in an enclosed garage since May. Discovered missing on date and time stated above

Someone broke into the apartment building where I live and took the bike from a locked stairwell.

I’m not sure what the exact date was that my bike was stolen. It was locked to a rack behind a locked door in the back of my apartment building. Someone broke into the building and broke the lock, taking the lock and bike with them.

Garage door was mistakenly left open. Road bike was stolen.

I stowed my bike in the lobby of the apartment building around 5pm Tuesday night. The lobby has a locked door and there is an external locked gate entry to the complex. The bike was left alongside around 5 other bikes belonging to other tenants, some of which were locked, others not. The front tire of the bike was locked to the frame with a u-lock, and my helmet was hanging from the handlebars. When I left for work in the morning, around 10am, the bike and lock were both gone, and the helmet was left in a stroller parked next to the other bikes. I didn't notice any of my neighbors' bikes missing.
