Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

my bicycle was stolen off the 70 bus route between kedzie and Austin ~ i got off the bus forgetting it but realized immediately

I locked my bike at the century mall at lake view, Chicago, I went to the LA Fitness gym upstairs and after returning I found my bike lost.

Bike was stored in locked garage. Thieves jumped fence, kicked in side door of garage and removed bike, leaving through the back gate.

Locked my bike up Sunday Oct 7 4:30am at Loyola Red Line stop rack. Had to leave it there overnight due to a personal situation. Returned Monday Oct 8 around 5pm to find it, my lock, and helmet missing.

Person went up to our 2nd floor deck, cut the cable lock and walked away with both our bikes. We do have video of the person that committed the theft.

Our building has a surveillance system which we have reviewed and identified an individual with a blue backpack wearing black clothing breaking through our condo's garage rear door and walking out with two bikes. The theft occurred between 8:20 and 8:30 pm on October 1st, 2018 according to the security camera log. The footage was not clear enough to make out the individual's features. He appears to be a male and he looks like he had an accomplice waiting outside to help handle the two bikes he took.

Bike was stolen near Clark and Fullerton in front of the title boxing club. The bike was locked up to a bike post via a combination lock and stolen around 6:30pm while I was inside at the gym. Specific location 2417 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60614

My bike was stolen from the inside of my home.

Bike hidden under fire escape staircase to apartment building, last seen at approximately 8:30 am on Friday October 5. Went to retrieve bike on Saturday October 6 at 12:30pm & bike stolen.

Bike stolen on third floor landing of stairwell. Unforced entry.

The cable lock was cut and left at the scene. There is a camera right above the bike rack, and I filed a police report. Seemed to be a quick job and a clean cut.

Bike last scene at the Damen Blue Line stop in the bike room. I left it in the morning and it was fine by 5:00. The people at the stop didn’t really care and don’t watch or have security cameras.

Bike locked outside Merchandise Mart on Wells Street. Locked at 8a and returned at 5p and it was gone.

I was taking groceries inside my apartment and the bike was leaning again the house in my yard. When I came back out to take in the bike, it was gone.

Someone probably picked up from our back porch which is open to the private but not gated, condo parking lot.

I locked the bike to the short metal 'fence' enclosing a sidewalk patch of grass/shrub right outside of Veggie Grill. I used a Kryptonite U-lock to secure the seat tube to the metal fence. I ate lunch in Veggie Grill, 12:45pm-1:30pm. When I exited the restaurant at 1:30pm, the bike was gone without a trace. (i.e. thief took the bike and u-lock and left nothing behind)

Stolen from my apartment buildings locked basement area in Ravenswood (Montrose and Ashland)
