Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Bike inside my garage. Bike itself not locked, but garage usually is. No sign of forced entry so maybe the side door was unlocked.

I came home at 9 pm and it was gone. Somebody must have been watching the house because there was only about an hour yesterday when nobody was home.

Bike was locked to smaller fence enclosing tree and landscaping on the sidewalk. Fence was about 3 1/2 ft tall. Bike was locked through frame to the fence with a U-shape lock. Bike was left for approximately 3 days and was missing upon return, lock and bike collectively. Attempted to check with City of Chicago about possible removal without response.

I locked my bike to a street pole on the northeastern corner of Hubbard at the intersection with Dearborn. An hour later, just before 6.30 pm, I came back and my bike was missing. A man in a car told me that about 40 minutes earlier he had watched a man pick up the street pole my bike was U-locked to and ride east on Hubbard.

Rider dropped bike bags at Temple Shalom. Id in bags. Temple Shalom called police who returned the bike bags to me. Helmet also taken. Usual helmet with complete flashing light surround. White with blue stripes.

Bike last seen July 28 at 9pm. Noticed missing July 29 at 9pm.

Theif broke into our garage in ravenswood manor (manor and lawrence) and removed bike from ceiling rack

Bike was locked in enclosed parking area for apartment complex. Someone left the gate open or jumped the fence and cut the lock taking both the combination lock and bike.

I was distance swimming at OH St Beach and away from the bike for 40 min. the minimal bike racks were full so bike was cable-locked to a metal fence post through frame and front wheel was U-locked to frame. Broad daylight with many other bikes around. Some beach-going witnesses heard a man sawing 10' away from them. He told them he was having trouble with his bike lock and apologized for the noise. They watched him then walk away calmly with it. He was 6'2"-6'-3" white male ~200lbs (wearing hat and sunglasses) and they were mothers with their kids so I understand them not stopping him. When I returned and walked to where my bike had been they approached me and explained what had happened. There is a camera right near there so hoping that will help.

My bike was inside a locked side entrance to my condo building. It was locked to a thick, wooden post inside. I parked and locked it the day before and noticed it missing the following morning.

Bike lock cable was cut and bike was stolen on busy Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago in front of Millennium Park during the Friday summer concert series

Was stolen in front of Labor Temps on Western.

Bike was locked to no parking street sign in front of 505 N. Green St. mid-morning of 7/28/18. Came back around 3:30 p.m. with bike nowhere to be found, as well as lock and cable missing.

I went to my Saturday morning class that began at 10am in the Professional Studies building at Northwestern. My bike was locked to the designated bike rack for the building. My bike had anti-theft for the wheels and seat installed. My bike lock brand was ABUS. When I came out of class at 2:00pm my bike was gone. I

Locked my bike in place on the bike rack around 6:00 AM felt ok locking it there because is right next to a construction site that was full of workers.

The bike was stolen from the lobby of my building while i was checking my mail.

Bike was locked up to a tree directly outside the FFC / Aston Martin Dealership at 1038 N Clark. Bike was gone after I spent approximately 60 minutes in the FFC Gold Coast gym

During the time I was in the Bucktown public library someone cut the lock and stole the bike.
