Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Bike was last seen the morning of July 11th, 2014 around 8:00am and was missing by 3:00pm that same day. This means the bike was stolen in daylight.

Bike and bike helmet were under deck in back of condo building in locked gated back. Was stolen in the past few days - just noticed it missing.

The bike was locked to a pole with 2 locks, including a U lock and cable lock, at the intersection of Jackson and Ashland, on a busy street. After one hour, the bike was gone.

The bike was stolen near the Walmart Neighborhood Market at 2844 N Broadway St. It appears the thief might have unlocked the bike with a master key or tool.

Car was also broken into at 4935 West 147th court

My bike was stolen while I was at School at John Hancock College Prep, while attending asm. The suspects were 2 white males that got bolt cutters and cut off my cable lock. The suspects were said to head north of Hancock when it happened. One came back two days later to try and steal another one, but he didn't, considering there were too many witnesses. He's white, was wearing a black shirt with white shorts, in his 20's and has short hair. He was also said to head north when he steals one. Said hello to some people at the stupid block party got good and was heading to my studio. It was an awesome bike and somebody wanted it.

Bike was taken from a back passageway beyond garbage bins but beyond a locked gate to street.

I was playing soccer and left my bike next to the goal post, as I went to retrieve a ball that went over the fence a man went up to my bike and rode off.

Left bike unlocked temporarily in back of 864 E. Northwest Hwy hidden around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2014 behind dumpster until family member could get there to pick up (left key to lock at home). When family member arrived at 2:00 p.m., bike was gone.

My bike was locked to its self, frame to front wheel, in my basement/laundry room/storage space. I last rode it, tuesday, july 15th. I was going to ride it to work today july 18th, when I realized it was missing.

I left the bike at ERF building at 900W Taylor St. at 9.30PM on July 16. I went to work and came back at 2AM July 17. The bike was missing along with the lock.

My bike was locked to a no parking pole. The lock was threaded through the front wheel and the frame. The bike was lifted over the pole or the lock was cut and taken with the bike.

Someone probably cut the cable lock and stole the bike.

I was sitting inside reading with the window open on my first floor apt. The bike was locked 8 feet from my window. I heard them cut the cable and take the lock off, realized what the sound was and jumped up. I didn't see anyone because my curtains were closed at that instant. I grabbed my keys & phone & ran outside but they were gone. Called the police instantly.

I work at Lurie Children's hospital on Superior ave. I arrived to work at 5:30am and locked by bike to the bike rack out front. I went to leave at 6pm, and my bike as well as cable and Ulock were missing. Photo below is a stock photo- looks just like my bike except my frame is a deep purple

Outside the Damen Blue Line stop. Would have been in broad daylight with a bunch of people around to see, plus cameras. Sometime between 1130am and 8pm it was stolen.
