Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Thick black seat, fully scraped and more than a little beat up, dented front and rear fenders.

Almost new Mens Trek 3700 mountain bike 16" frame. Black with some gray. Scratches on right shift button and on peddal sides. Some plastic still attached under seat. Accessories: seat, pedals, wheels all Bontrager. Water bottle holder and black handle bar extensions and black bell on right handlebar.

Bike was in good condition. It had a grey Dimond Back seat. The bar tape was black with hyper yellow tape on the ends. The bars were caped off with wine corks. The bike had very little stickers on it and was light blue. The only sticker on the bike was on the very front,it was the Skyline logo (a rainbow in some clouds) and said made in canada.

This is a mint green womens GT mountain bike, 21 speed. Wheel size 26, frame 16. The bicycle had a plastic connector on the handlebars with a red button(attachment for a bike basket). There is also a black plastic piece sticking up out of the end of the handlebar on the left side, the remains of a bike mirror which broke off. It also had an very visible attachment on the back wheel which is a black metal bar which is attached to the axle and goes back from there, it sticks out slightly past the back of the rear tire and say K9 Cruiser on it (faded letters). The bike seat was a black 8" gel seat with grey on the sides and a logo. There was also a sticker on the bike for Rudy's Chicago (bike shop.) Bike was registered with the police so if you think you see it please call the Chicago police (911) and report it, they have the serial number on file and should be able to ID it.

Large Black Kona Smoke with mustache handlebars and bar end friction shifts. Front and rear fenders. Rear rack and panniers.

Classic 3 Speed with black frame, white fenders and matching grips, Brooks B17 saddle, no chain guard.

Four year old bike, red Scwinn 3 speed Crusier with peddle brakes. Black wire basket in front, but may have been taken off.

New, three weeks old. Absolutely perfect

The bike was in nearly perfect condition other than a couple nicks in the paint. It also had an old Palatine bike registry sticker on it's seat tube.

The bicycle is a 63 cm motobecane Mirage. The bike is baby blue with royal blue motobecane striping. The bike has gold front and rear rims. The front rim is a velocity the rear rim has no marking of company and is a flip flop hub but only has a fixed gear hub placed on it. When the bike was stolen the wheel had 3 basketball cards in the rim. The cards are probably not still there but if they were dumb enough to leave them in it will make the bike pretty distinguishable. The handlebars have royal blue grip tape and has one emergency brake located on the bars. The brake cable is also royal blue. I recently replaced the crank and I'm near 99% sure that it's a Sugino. The chain is also royal blue. The bike was built by my friend Adam of 329 bikes in Bartlet and has "Planet Bikes" handlebar caps.

It is teal with orange writing on it, which I think said "Specialized". It is a female adult bike. I only got it back in Chicago the night before, so I don't have many of its characteristics memorized.

okay condition. was my mother's bike back in the early 70s. the white is more of an off white and is a little dirty. has a dutch or french flag on the front fork with a gazelle in front of flag. frame says "gazelle". has a black brooks seat and shiny black tape on handle bars which are drop bars. end of handle bars don't have caps, can see the screws. front and rear brakes. two baskets, one on either side of back wheel.

Fairly good condition except for a couple of rusty screws on the handle bars. Gel seat cover over the original hard seat.

Excellent condition. Bike has a black, saturn shaped bell on the right side of the handlebars. Bike also has a bottle rack for a Klean Kanteen waterbottle

a green jeunet frame, likely from the 1970's. bullhorn handlebars with black tape, black schwinn seat, black front & back fenders, one right hand brake, single speed. the paint was faded except for in the places where the stickers had been removed.

This is a Downtube brand bike. They are only available for sale online. It is a fold-able bike that has hinges at the handlebar post and in the center of the frame. The bike is also distinguished by its small wheels and an internal gear hub in the back tire. It is a 7 speed and it has a safety light built into the back seat, it also has a bell on the handlebars.

Only had this bike for two years. Looks still great. I think there is a Johnny Sprokets sticker on the frame, some very slight tearing of tape of the handle bars (black foam tape handles)

It was OK. Normal for a ten year old bike. Some scratches here and there, but otherwise ok.
