Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Bike was left unlocked in our garage, and we likely forgot to close the garage door when we left around 9:30 AM. Didn't arrive home until 9:30 PM and found only my bike missing (partner's bike was still there, along with other semi-valuable belongings).

My family and I were in the backyard Father's Day morning - the garage to the alley was left open - as if often is (only when we're out there). We have two bikes, both of which hang up on the north end of my garage, in the corner near the alley. Someone walked down the alley, took the bike off the hook, and rode away.

I believe I locked it incorrectly although the lock was through frame and tire. Front tire and lock were still there when I saw it was stolen.

The bike was locked on the bike rack by Hubbard and LaSalle on June 19th 4pm. By 11PM, both bike and lock were completely gone. Please help to look out. It is not an expensive bike at all. The color and style is a rare find. Thank you in advance!

Bike was locked to another bike by the beach restaurant at Montrose beach. It was left there between 10:45 am and 11:30 am while I was at the beach.

The bike was locked inside a gate in the alley next to N Greenview Ave and W Grace. Someone came with bolt cutters and stole broke the cable, stealing my bike. The bike was locked with another bike of mine and then, another bike was next to it unlocked (not mine.) I think this happened around 6:30 as I believe my dog reacted to the sound.

I was by North Avenue goose island trail stopped to look at river, sat for a while turned around in 10 minutes it was gone.

I left my bike next to the Eugene Field Elementary building while I played soccer on the turf field 15 feet away. I played for 45 minutes and when I was ready to leave, my bike had been stolen. Some other players said that they heard someone talking about wanting my bike and apparently he rode off with it, but we had no luck contacting the supposed thief.

Locked bike outside of building ~7:20PM June 15, 2020. When I walked outside of the building at ~7:35AM June 16, 2020, it was gone. I think it was likely taken in the middle of the night, as I live in a downtown area.

I went into Sanaya Threading & Skin Care on Clark and Belden and was gone for 15 minutes, came out and the bike and lock were gone.

Went down to locked basement to discover bike was missing.

Bike fell off car rack on 55 Southbound between 90E interchange and Pulaski rd exit. Went back and bike gone.

Green Fuji Sagres cruiser bike was stolen between 5pm and 630 pm on June 15th outside of Cafe Mustache on N Milwaukee in Logan Square.

My bike has been locked up since the beginning of the stay-at-home order so I am not sure when it was stolen as I have not checked on it for some time

Someone removed the glass to my basement door, unlocked the door, entered and stole my bike.

Bike stolen from locked storage basement at 747 W Cornelia, Chicago IL.

Went to buy groceries when I came out my bike was gone.

My bike was stolen at some point overnight between 6/13 and 6/14. The front wheel and frame were locked to a street sign on the south sidewalk on the 1500 block of W. 18th Street, right outside the closed Tortilleria Sabinas. After noticing the bike was missing on the morning of 6/14, you could tell that someone had removed the bolt fixing the street sign to its base so that they were able to lift the street sign and remove the bike.

Was accidently left in the 1600 N Leavitt street alley (between Leavitt and Bell) on Wednesday 11 Jun 2020 at 11 AM. Was stolen sometime between 11 AM and 3 PM that day.
