At 0700 Thursday morning, February 14, I locked my bike to a bike rack outside the East plaza of the Blue Cross Blue Shield at 300 E Randolph. The rack is no more than 20 feet from the entrance of the building. I secured the bike with a Kryptonite cable through the front wheel and U-lock capturing the frame and rear wheel. At 1600 Thursday, February 14, I exited the building and noticed my bike was missing. There was no sign of the bike, the cable, or the U-lock. I just filed a police report online and I'm waiting for the case number.

Admin note- on 4/15/2025 the victim wrote: I filed this years ago, and just heard from someone that they bought the bike from a neighbor and just realized it was stolen. I have long since purchased a new bike and want them to keep my old bike.
