In our small (6 unit) locked shared condo garage, my bike was against the bike rack, but not locked. Our neighbor found the internal locked door propped open afternoon of 8/13/23. So likely was stolen around then. Stolen near Belmont and Paulina in East Lakeview.

My daughter's bike was locked to a bike rack in front of Lill Street Art Center at 4401 N. Ravenswood Ave. The bike was locked with a Kryptonite cable through the front wheel and U-lock attached to rack. Thief cut through the cable in broad daylight. There's always people walking around this area due to lots of summer kids' camps, so it must have been quick and taken a lot of guts to do it.

When my wife left for work in the morning, she noticed that the back door of the garage and the gate leading to the garage through our back yard were both open. She then noticed that my bicycle was missing, along with my helmet and the bag containing the bike lock. We always lock the garage door, but there was no evidence of forced entry, so we must have accidentally left it unlocked. Nothing else appears to have been stolen from the garage, including other bicycles.
