This morning (7/11) at 6:20am I went to grab my bike to ride to work and it was missing from it's assigned spot. Bike was stolen exactly on July 11 at 12:19 am. The individual is a white male wearing dark pants and dark sweatshirt with a baseball hat that he wears backwards in two tones and what appears to be the logo of Firestone Walker brewery. He is also wearing Brooks sneakers. He was carrying a red Nike backpack and a blue one.

Good condition. The bike was bright yellow, with black CANNONDALE, R600 and CAD3 lettering with white grip tape. There were two water bottle holders on the bottom part, a Ulock attached to the main top crossbar and a black bike bag under the seat with an innertube, Allen wrench set and a CO2 cartage in it. It had two speed on the front and approx 7 on the rear wheel with a gear changer labeled SHIMANO R X 100. Both wheels were quick release and had brand new tires on them. The bike was purchased at "old spokes home" in burlington vermont and has a sticker reflecting that. Additionally the handles for the breaks were two slightly different colors.

My bicycle was locked outside the main entrance to the William Eckhardt Research Center at the center of the U Chicago campus (across from the library dome). After returning from dinner near campus my bicycle was missing, and no obvious evidence was left behind. The lock in it's entirety was missing as well. I believe that my bicycle was present when I left for dinner, as this was a very full rack at that time. I been in Chicago less than a week, at work for 3 days (where my bike was stolen from), this is not a good impression.
