Bike was locked outside 420 N wabash at 1:30pm on July 10th, 2017. Locked through the frame and front wheel with a kyrptonite u lock and a masterlock key lock cable through the rear wheel frame. All locked to the bike rack. I took the seat and lights with me. When leaving work at 8:00pm, the bike was gone and the lock was left unopen on the ground still attached to the rack. A police report was filed the same day but no reports since.

I had a 4 number combination lock that was secured to the rack through my front wheel and the frame of the Cannondale. It is a relatively busy area near the intersection of Washington and Ada. I work the front desk at Sat Nam Yoga and people where coming and going all afternoon/evening.

I had just installed locking skewers on the wheels and seat, so I locked it to the bike rack at Southport and Wrightwood through the frame with a Kryponite Kryptolock Series 2 Mini U-lock. Can't be certain it was there when I left for work in the morning on July 27, but it was gone, no sign of the lock, when I returned from work around 8 pm on July 27. A bike rack and lock mount were added after picture below was taken.

The bike was enclosed in a storage basement area of the apartment building I live in. The only access to the storage basement is through the inside of the building by tannants. The access door to the outside rear of the building can only be opened from the inside. The only way for the bike to have been taken was from the inside of the building by another tennant. It was left for a couple hours while I unloaded belongings into my apartment that I just moved into in Rogers Park. Went back down, and discovered it was missing. For proof of ownership, I have all sales transaction information from Performance Bike on Halsted.

Bike was locked in bike room at 5419 South Harper Ave, Chicago, IL 60615 (Campus Court Apartments). Went to the bike room to get the bike and found the bike room door busted open and the doors leading to the outside of the building left open. Followed the open doors to the apartment gates which were also left open. Went back to confirm the bike was missing and only found the cut lock still hanging from the wall rack.
