Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Thief obtained entry to our premises by bypassing front gate and pried open storage shed containing two bikes

Two bikes stolen out of a locked storage shed beneath our garage

Bike was left unlocked in front of car in detached Condo garage. Garage having issues with door opening randomly (suspect that a nearby neighbor has a similar frequency/code). Door opened during the day and bike was taken from the garage

The bike was locked to the 2nd story porch at my girlfriend's apartment. The thieves would have had to see it through an alley, go through a private gate, and then up a flight of stairs. Once they did that, they broke the deck in order to remove the bike with the lock still attached to it. At around 12:30pm I went outside to go to work and found the damage to the deck and my bike and lock missing.

The bike was in my locked garage and when I woke up, the door was wide open and the bike gone

Neighbor alerted me at 7:30am that the garage door was open. Bike and a few other items were missing.

Bike was left between 4136 and 4140 W School St. In between the houses.

I just noticed my bike was missing from a back entry area that is gated, locked, and enclosed. I am not sure how long it has been gone.

Bike was stolen off a porch where it was temporarily being cleaned, neighbor probably left back gate open.

Garage door was left open for 2 minutes. UPS came as I answered the door my neighbor across the street got off the phone with the police to report the incident. A tall black male with orange gloves, neon green shoes ran in an rode it down Paulina. Not sure what the police report number is as the neighbor didn't give it to me.

Bike was locked with a new u-shaped Master lock to the bike rack in front of Barnes and Nobles Book store. The street is highly frequented during these business hours. It was stolen without damagin the lock and the lock was left behind locked (closed) to the bike rack. My friend's lock at his bike (same lock brand, exactly the same lock) was opened as well, but his bike was not stolen. His bike remained Witze the Orden lock at the rack, while mine was stolen. I suspect the thief had a duplicate universal lock key.

Bike was hanging on side of storage cabinet in communal garage. I recall seeing the bike at 4pm on March 25. Noticed it was gone at 130 pm on March 26th.

I store my bikes in my garage which is locked. They thieves forced open the side door, and entered in the garage during the day while I was at work. I left in the morning, and the garage door was open when I returned. I don't leave the garage door open, but could see how the thieves forced the door open.

Left my bike outside my appartment back door at 7pm Wednesday. Came to get on on Thursday morning and it was gone.

I came home around 7pm, checked on my bike and didn't find it. The lock was also missing, I went out of my gated community to the alley and found my combination cable lock by the garbage can across the alley. It had been cut. I am sure the incident happened on March 22 because I saw my bike on March 21 at night.

Bike was stolen from private garage sometime between February 20 and March 15. Lock was secured to the frame of the bike. (Bike locked to itself with heavy duty security chain)

Garage deadbolt kicked in, 3 bikes in total stolen
