Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

The bike was locked to an iron fence in front of the Hearland Clinic at the intersection of Hazel and Wilson in Uptown. When I exited the clinic the bike was gone. I asked people sitting outside if anyone might have seen it, and then I walked home.

when I came back from work, my bike was gone but my lock was still intact. the tires were flat, so maybe the thieves might replace them.

Bike was most likely lifted up with locked tire and placed in a van.

Rode bike Sunday (Sep 4) morning and stored in locked garage. Other unit owner noticed garage door open Monday (Sep 5) afternoon and bike missing. No forcible entry and no one used the open garage door on Monday. Thief may have defeated key code for entry.

Bike was locked under security camera in Logan Square between 8am and noon.

By bike was stolen from underneath my back porch. It was locked to itself with a U-lock with two other bikes. It was the only bike stolen. My yard is fenced in and enclosed on all sides.

I arrived at the Logan Square Blue Line station on my bike at 8:30 a.m. on Sep. 7th, 2016 and locked it directly underneath a camera outside the stop. I went to class until 1:45 pm and when I returned to the station, the bike and lock were missing and another bike was in it's place. I purposely locked it next to a group of people handing out religious fliers as they do every morning and in plain view of a police camera because I thought no way in hell someone had the guts to walk up with bolt cutters in broad daylight on a weekday morning and jack a bike that was recorded directly in front of them.

They entered through our gate and into our garage to steal the bike

garage accessed but closed and locked on Friday. Tueday afternoon neighbor informed owner garage door was open and a old Trek bike was left outside of garage. Black Diamondback stolen off of hook. Owner had only garage door opener.

The bike was ridden Sunday morning and put on the back porch, hidden behind a grill and some pieces of wood. The bike was checked on every so often, it was last seen on the back porch Monday morning. The bike was hidden from the view of the street.

My bike was locked to the front railing at my house late in the evening, lock was cut and left behind the next morning.

I came out to find my garage door open. The bike was missing

Opened the garage and drove my car to pick up other cyclists. Closed door after exiting garage. Returned to garage door open and bikes missing. (a trek 2300 custom single speed was also stolen)

Drove the car out of the garage and closed the door behind me. Returned 40ish minutes later to the garage door open and both of my bicycles stolen.

Our garage is under construction and since they stole a bike from me last month, they came back. I never even got to ride this bike. Stolen with sales receipt in saddle bag.

We accidentally left the garage door open, and an individual left his bike and took off with mine.
