Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

The bike was black, yet had many patches of silver underneath from scratched off paint. It has a flat bottom bar. I had a Chicago flag sticker on one side, and a gay rights (the blue/yellow equal sign), gender equality (from the underwear critical mass in july), and two "so tasty" (jimmy johns) stickers on the other side. The top bar has a little residue in the middle from duct tape that I previously peeled off (you would probably only notice this if you touched it). Then, since the bike was self made, I put the break cables as different colors: green and purple. The shifting cable was very short and a teal color. The grips have a trim of red at the end, and the fork says "SLURY" vertically.

Brand new, red water bottle cage, gel seat

Installed 2 hand brakes one silver and one black. Black pedals. Orange lights on the rims. Had cell phone holder and light holder in handlebars. Sole' mandrake.

Newly purchased on 7/19/15. Has Rear Rack, Fenders,Panier, Kickstand.

There is an oval Village Cycle sticker on the down tube, and a small Village Cycle ticker on the seat tube with the number 1122. There is also a gold colored metal tag hanging from the top tube (I believe it has the number 30 on it, or something close). It's a 2006 bike with reasonable wear on it.

This bicycle is about 20 years old. There is rust around the seat shaft, and the brakes were replaced somewhat recently. It has mountain bike tires; the front tire was replaced somewhat recently, and looks slightly different than the back tire. It has a red rear light and front reflector; there is also a seat-mounted carrying shelf with pink bungie cords over the back tire.

Black frame with red lettering. One black rim one orange rim. Red-taped bullhorn handlebars. Old chrome Schwinn friction shifters on headset. Fenders and rear rack.

Fair condition. White grips on handle bars, seat angled down.

Refurbished, got it from a store in Boston that puts new parts on older frames. Guessing the frame is from the late 80's or 90's. Has paddle shifters, a new thin seat, Shimano shifters (I think they are called shifters?), upright handle bars, small piece of plastic on the handlebars I would strap my light to, colorful Raleigh crest, silver peddles.

Surly Long Tail "Big Dummy" With Xtra Cycle Bags on the back. This is a very distinguishable bike! There are not many of this original style in Chicago. Vintage Brooks saddle, i-phone case, and halogen light. Rear handle bars with orange grips for a child.
