I locked my bike at 535 N Michigan on lower Michigan Ave to a bike rack. After I went to a friends apartment for a few hours late in the evening, I came back down and the bike and my lock were gone. I locked my bike through the rear wheel and around frame to a bike rack provided at the building but neither were there after I went back later in the evening.

The bike was kept in a 2 car garage shared with my neighbor. It was stolen between 8AM and 8PM on Friday during my absence. Garage must have been left unattended by neighbor or the thief had some other way of unlocking the garage door without causing damage.

Missing the front tire and the back tire has a cracked plastic presta style valve cover. It did have a tag on it that said Jess Massaro #3A (because we had to label our bikes) but it could be torn off by now. The bike has stem gear shifters which are slightly turned to the left making them appear crooked. The bike is in fairly good condition. The only other distinguishing feature of the bike is that since it is a Canadian bike as a part of the Dawes logo there are maple leaves.

There is reason to suspect neighbors at the 21st and Western intersection.
