It is a 3 speed, internal hub. The BiblioTreka is a custom tricycle previously known as The Book Bike. It was custom designed by Haley Trikes with fold-out wood shelves to cycle books around Chicago. It is extremely heavy and cumbersome, and in fantastic shape. The bike itself is black and the box with the shelves is painted turquoise and white.

Was storing my bike in the basement of our apartment building. The door, which is hidden under the back stairway, was left unlocked and the bike was unlocked inside. The bike had been left in this location for months under these conditions without being stolen. It was stolen between August 8th and 17th, when I discovered it stolen.
