Sadly, just stolen

Bike was locked to bike rack in common garage of condo building. Front wheel and frame were locked to bike rack with new U-Lock. Rear wheel was locked to frame with a separate new U-Lock. Both locks were Kryptonite. The scumbag(s) who stole my bike used either a pipe cutter or hacksaw to dismantle the bike rack. It is clear the strategy was to destroy the rack rather than invest time breaking the locks. Multiple bikes were stolen from the garage as they destroyed 2 separate bike racks and clearly went after the high dollar value targets.

Bicycle was locked to a fence in a private courtyard at 10:30 pm on Sunday night. The fence is not visible from the street and the bike was concealed underneath trees. The bike had been cut off from the fence before 7:00am on Monday morning. The fence was damaged and cut open. No evidence of the U-lock.

White male used cordless saw to cut through U lock.

Left my house in the morning at 5 am and bike was still there. My roommate left later and noticed it was gone.

Four bikes were locked to rack on side of high-rise condo complex on eve of July 4, near fireworks. Thieves removed cable locks and two adult bikes, leaving two kids bikes. Discovered July 7, 6pm.

Bike was locked through both wheels, frame & secured around large metal support post that held up a cement porch, with Krptonite U-Lock & cable. Bike and locks are all gone.

Street sign was uprooted from the ground.

Left my bike out overnight on my third story porch. Someone grabbed it between 4am and 12pm.

BIKE TAKEN FROM GARAGE OVERNIGHT BLACK FRAME, RED PEDALS, BLACK BOTTLE CAGE AND VILLAGE CYCLE CENTRE STICKER ON LOWER FRAME

4 or 5 young people were writing with sidewalk chalk right near the area it was stolen from really late, maybe they were lookouts while the thief did his thieving.

rode bikes to zoo, locked them on bike rack, came out a couple of hours later and the bikes were gone.

Bike was stollen from the locked storage room in our apartment building. Cable lock is also missing

We drove bikes last Sunday. We did not check on them until 30 minutes ago. It was in a locked building in a locked storage room and looked to bike rack along with another stollen (filed separate report).

Bike was stolen from sidewalk in front of apartment. I heard the lock get cut, ran outside and chased the person. I caught sight of the person riding the bike two blocks south and saw them turn onto Paulina and then Milwaukee going northwest before I lost sight. When i got back to where it was stolen, I noticed that the person had left the bolt cutters used to cut the lock on the sidewalk. I filed the police report over the phone, and then got into a car and headed to look for the bike. In the car, I caught sight of the person going north on Wood (two blocks west of where it was stolen). This was about 15 minutes after the bike was stolen. I called 911 while following the person and told the operator where the person was heading. The person was chased onto North ave., then north on Hermitage, east on Bloomingdale and then north on an alley parallel to Hermitage before the person was out of sight. At that point I was off the phone with the operator and was told to wait in that area for an officer to show up. I talked to two different officers at that intersection before heading back. They said they would keep a look out for the bike.

A few friends of mine had a party at their apartment in Wrigleyville and my brother and I left our bikes an a hallway within the apartment. Many people that we didn't know showed up, and the bikes were stolen from the apartment around 1 AM, as people started to leave. I've talked to multiple people who were there but I've had no luck, filing a police report tonight or tomorrow. The bike may be around downtown or the Columbia campus.

I was at Ribfest. I locked my bike around 2 blocks North of Irving Park rd on Damen. The bike was locked through the front wheel and frame. When I came back to get my bike after attending rib fest I found the parking sign that the bike was locked to was pulled from the ground and bike gone.

Bike was stolen from fenced-in, locked side yard some time during the night of July 3rd.
